Pretty much no service, average food at best, nothing special about the restaurant whatsoever. We read trip advisor, so we tried it. Disappointed doesn’t really say it all. Prices were higher than those listed in the online menu, and the items were different. I think I’m being generous giving them an average rating.

Not only is this the best coffee in town, the food is great as well. It's a limited menu ~ pastries, sandwiches and salads, but everything is consistently good. They've expanded and have a large room that's suitable for bug groups, not to mention a new, larger roaster.

Went here based on reviews for breakfast hoping to find spectacular sausage gravy but didn't find it. The atmosphere and staff were great but the food was just average. Sausage gravy lacked in sausage but mostly lacked in flavor. Eggs Benedict was pretty good but nothing topping the charts.

Just stopped by to try the limited edition Molten Chocolate Frappuccino that they have for Valentine's week. It is so good! Chocolate flavored, plus chocolate whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Also bought a Cookie Dough cake pop. Delicious as well. The service was just as great as the treats. The staff at this location are always top notch.

First time there, recommended by locals. Many choices in their menu, prices medium and above. We prefer quality to quantity and this is their style, so it suited us just fine. The dining room was nice, clean and well appointed, but on the dark side. The restrooms were not clean at all, so they need to smarten up there, a lot.
All in all, we'd probably go back but I must say it won't be often, just occasionally.

The baristas here do such a good job and the environment is bright, welcoming and sparkly. I really enjoyed my daily visit while in Pendleton and will miss it until my next trip there.

They had a meal special but we didn't learn about it till after we'd ordered. We all had great food and even the vegan traveling with us thought the veggie burger was awesome. Another good meal. See ya next time. Cheers

This restaurant was recommended to us by the front desk staff at the Hampton Inn in Pendleton and we had a very nice experience. We arrived at the restaurant late (around 8:00 pm on a Wednesday evening), and so they were only serving the bar menu by then, but there was still plenty of selection and the food was excellent. We had the cowboy cheese dip (with homemade tortilla chips, which were terrific), along with a cheeseburger and a grilled chicken sandwich.
The wait staff was very friendly and helpful, and as we were leaving, a gentleman (who I believe was the manager) took a few minutes to explain some of the history of the building and the restaurant to us. The building (which is over 125 years old) and the restaurant (which is 11 years old) are filled with historical artifacts, including a beautiful bar in the saloon, an old bank teller's window, and other items. The ambiance is really cool--it feels like you are stepping back in time to an Old West saloon. The atmosphere is authentic, not corny or touristy.
We didn't want to eat a big steak so late at night, but it is a steakhouse and the steaks on the menu (while not cheap) sounded delicious.
Just one FYI if you go to this restaurant with teenagers or small children--pay attention to the warning signs on the restrooms before you enter. Both the men's and the women's restrooms are filled with nude paintings that leave nothing to the imagination. They do have some other "family friendly" restrooms elsewhere in the restaurant if either you or your children would be offended by these "adult" decorations.

Serving dinner in the 1876 historical house in the downtown area. One mile from exit 210 off of I-84. Dinner entrees include unique flavorful grill items: steaks seafood and fabulous creamy pastas (1st to feature fettuccine in Pendleton since 1985). Our fabulous house made sauces/dressings and apple/alder wood smoked meats & fish, Rocky Mtn. Elk & Oregon Dungeness crab by Chef Rob. We have an award winning bar featuring Pendleton Buckaroo 2015 Champion Cocktail the 'Sundown Buckaroo', come try one! Some signature items include: sautéed mushroom in sour cream and sherry, BBQ beef brisket & baby back ribs, fettuccines, huckleberry crème Brule....and more. Family friendly dining, well-behaved dog friendly patio.
My wife and I were passing through Pendleton on our way to Idaho. Stopped for a bite to eat here after reading about it on TripAdvisor. Sundown was technically closed for a couple of events but accommodated us for a dinner (we were limited in our menu based on the events). Raphael set us up with their signature cocktail (a concoction of huckleberry vodka, Pendleton whiskey and a variety of other items). I had the combo meal of brisket and the ribs. Very tasty. My wife had the alder smoked salmon. Also good. Capped this with two huckleberry creme brûlées and we were set. Will definitely come back when the entire menu is available for choice. Thanks to all the staff for letting us slip in between the events! Recommended.

We came here during the Holiday Hangover Pub Crawl. The service was friendly. We were a bit confused by the lay out as we were seated but it looked like you ordered at the counter or maybe paid there, but someone took our order and we tracked down someone to pay our bill.
We had the calamari appetizer and the sauce was quite spicy. My husband really liked it. It came with fries which surprised us, so we brought them home for our daughter. We shared a beer. The ambiance is a little weird. There was a curtain kind of separating the place. I didn't expect there would be beer/wine and hard alcohol and coffee drinks here. Overall, ok experience. They seemed busy.
