Greek and Italian specialities!!!!Home made pizzas in wooden oven!!!
We rang 2 hrs before we planned to eat and were not able to get the front tables but one table back we still had an amazing view. We had the saganaki and anchovies as starters and two pizzas which are quite large and a salad. ( margheritta and pink panther). Almost too much food for two adults and three kids 14,12,11.
Great pizza. The wood oven makes the thin crust delicate and they do t overdo the toppings. Highly recommend this restaurant. Total bill including wine and soft drinks $45 euro.

Jimmy’s restaurant is located in the village of Pelekas. At Jimmy’s restaurant you will find dishes and specialties based on a variety of traditional Corfiot, Greek and Mediterranean recipes.Jimmy’s is one of the oldest places in the area, where the quality of products and services, combined with a friendly atmosphere, still play a vital role… Note: Due to the fact that are many restaurants named Jimmy's we will like to caution guest to be sure that the review is for the right place! (Jimmy's Restaurant /Taverna in Pelekas Village of Corfu Greece) PS: If there is something that you think is need to be improved please let us know it first ;) Thanks..
Must try the rabbit stifado. As with most restaurants in the area parking can be difficult but worth the effort.

We have had a light lunch at this restaurant and have been impressed by the tasty food, nicely presented and not too expensive. The toilet has a wonderful view over the Ropa valley.

Really tasty homemade greek food, evenings with open grill and fresh sea food... but what is the best there is - Saganaki! I'm waiting all the year to eat it:) Beautiful view, perfect for sunsets and friendly atmosphere.

The portion sizes are enormous - beware! But the food is lovely, meat and chips really but done very nicely. Cool vibe with them serving the food in paper bags. Really caring staff and just a very lovely restaurant in general. Book ahead as they are often busy!

We visited Hawaii several times during our stay, and nothing was too much trouble forc the charming owner and her waitresses - we particularly enjoyed watching Wimbledon on the wide-screen TV, and enjoying the complementary mezes with our drinks in the bar. We didn't get the chance to use the pool (arrived too late, and the mozzies were biting), but it looked great - no smell of chemicals, which is always a bit of a downer.
The Greek night was a bit of a laugh - you don't go to these events expecting high culture, and it was fun. We ate dinner at Hawaii three times, and each time the food was good - I took a look in the kitchen, and there was plenty of fresh food being prepared. While not haute cuisine, it was good home-cooked food, and the best moussaka we ate on the island. The roof of the restaurant is under-used, and could do with being decorated better, but the views were sublime. Easily the best place in the village to eat dinner and watch the sun setting!

We ate here after visiting Kaiser's Throne. The staff are lovely, said we could sit wherever we wanted as there are seats across the path for a sea view. The prices are reasonable, the drinks are lovely and the food is great quality and very tasty! Would definitely go back again! :)

Visited numerous times in the last week of August 2016. Special recommendation for beef in red sauce, beef burgers and everything grilled. The chef that works here knows his trade. A true grillmaster. The waiting staff are very good in their craft as well.

We had dinner here last night and were delighted to find the village was hold a church festival. A band was set up outside the church which is opposite the restaurant and rows of plastic seats set arranged on the road. After the religious side of the festival was over, the village population filled the square. Local children and a couple of teachers took centre stage or should that read centre of the road and through traffic was stopped whilst for the next half an hour the kids gave the dancing show they had practiced for many weeks.
We were seated in Antoni's with a front row seat. The restaurant was really busy with a mixture of locals and tourists. Service was good considering the number of customers the two waiting staff had to serve.
We took a couple of ouzos with ice, a half carafe of house wine, a Greek salad which was fresh and large. Certainly enough for two people maybe even three.
For a main course I had a veal steak. This was enormous and was served with home cut chips and garnish. The steak was good but just too large for me and I left at least 50%
My wife had Pastisado which again was very good but enormous with enough pasta to feed a large family The sauce was excellent.
We completed the meal with two espressos and two brandies. All were excellent. The entertainment in the square continued with adult dancing for a couple of hours.
At the end of the night the bill was fifty euros which was great value for money. On leaving I went to get the car and my wife visited the Church as this was the first time we had seen it open. On leaving the church she was given a small loaf of bread by the Father, a very nice touch.
Will we call here again? Yes the food is good and next time we will ask for half portions of pasta and I'll pick a smaller cut of meat. however for trencher men the menu as it stands is perfect.
A good value taverna.
