A day trip to Patara, a few miles farther west from Kalkan, offers the chance to combine horseback riding, history and sand surfing. Once an important Lycian port town, legend has it that Patara is the birthplace of Apollo and with certainty it’s the birthplace of St. Nicholas. Horseback riding for riders of all ages and capabilities is available for rides along the 22 kilometers of white beaches. And so is sand surfing.

The guys in the cafe are all amazingly lovely. The service is just wonderful. As is the food. I would so recommend a wee trip to cafe vita for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed.

We run a clean and natural service with traditional turkish dishes in our family restaurant. We serve fresh bread and pizza, pide from stone oven. yes maybe we do not have a view, we do not have a Terrace, but our meals are very different and delicious. We expect everyone to our restaurant :)

Certainly more traditional fare. Great Pide's with such a selection to choose from. Excellent menu choice and all freshly prepared and well presented. Inexpensive but no compromise to the quality or service. Highly recommended. No Alcohol served here, but not a bad thing!

The food in this restaurant is well prepared and geared toward the more 'special' end of what's on offer from the Patara restaurants. You will be dining under the grape vines laden with many bunches of grapes some of which are served as a post meal gratuity. The portions are only moderate here and prices are moderately high so don't go if you just need to sit and feed a starving belly with any old food. Go when you are in the mood to spend an evening in a restaurant and take your time to enjoy it. We enjoyed our meal there and would return again.

The Golden Terrace Restaurant has developed a high reputation for serving an excellent and wide selection of delicious, freshly cooked Turkish cuisine. Full use is made of the local produce grown in this fertile region and an interesting selection of vegetarian, meat and fish dishes is available. The restaurant is fully licensed and is open throughout the day and evening. (just 2 minutes away from the hotel)
Good food, friendly welcome and comfortable shaded Terrace which is well placed for people watching. Amazing, enormous, bunches of grapes hanging off the vines providing shade on the Terrace when we visited. The food is a typical local menu with good Turkish dishes like Menemen and kebabs as well as mezze and good casseroles but also some tourist stuff like pasta and curries. Nice, fresh food and very fair prices. Definitely worth a try if you're visiting Patara.

Hidden away and under the shade this little cafe offers a super lunch menu.
The iced coffee is what it says, one of the best.
Our club sandwiches where lovely and came with nice home made chips. Portion sizes were generous.
We have only ever eaten at lunch time. Service is friendly and food good. A great little lunch stop.

Situated on the beautiful harbour front overlooking Kalkan’s pretty pebble beach & fishing boats, Seaport Restaurant & Café Bar offers a wide variety of beautifully prepared Turkish, International and Vegetarian cuisine, served in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We offer pre-dinner or after dinner cocktails, a variety of wines, beers & spirits as well as soft drinks. Our relaxing lounge area is available to enjoy a selection of various flavoured Nargile (Turkish water pipe). Our attentive staff will greet you with a warm welcome and ensure that your time here is a most enjoyable occasion. Whether its breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply drinks you can be sure of a wonderful experience here at Seaport. Reservations available.
This place never disappoints. The complimentary starter is the best we’ve tasted in Kalkan. The chicken plank (which a previous guest recommended) was delicious. My husband (a vegetarian) had the most amazing vegetable curry, other restaurants seemed to lack some flare in their vegetarian choices. We visited twice and each time the meals were amazing. Keep up the good work and we’ll see you in 2018.

around the corner from the dardanos hotel, a good stay, we had dinner here our 1st night in tiny patara. the owner of the pension said there was only 1 choice, fine with us. we had a delicious chicken casserole with peas, onions, and eggplant in a sauce. a salad each and a piece of cake for dessert. sipped on a beer and we were happy with our choice.

he bar's wooden floor is adorned with the distinctive and colourful rugs of Anatolia. Along with kilms, there are divans on which to relax and sini (round copper plates) from which to eat and drink. Family portraits, jazz posters and musical instruments hang on the walls and are signs of the owner's passions. The inside of the bar with its wooden beams gives the visitor the sense of a typical Anatolian interior. It offers a warm Turkish welcome to all visitors. The bar has many private and secluded areas where people can relax on sofas or the bamboo chairs and enjoy each others company. This ambiance combined with the diverse range of music from Pamir's music collection means the Medusa cafe bar very quickly becomes an addiction. A window to the world is opened: feelings, ideas and cultures are shared. And it's here that the foundations of lasting friendships are formed. Eating, drinking, singing and dancing are all part of the Medusa experience. Locals and visitors can meet and share the Anatolian hospitality. Socially and economically the bar is an important resource to the village.
We love relaxing in one of the comfy booths, listening to the music and sipping our favourite tipple! This is our second holiday in Patara and the Medusa Bar is a real favourite! You become very relaxed there and the staff are friendly and helpful. They stay open very late. We left at 2.30am a couple of nights ago and it was still doing a roaring trade! We will no doubt be going after dinner tonight!
