Cafe Des Amis makes you feel like you're in a European lodge with a romantic atmosphere plus intriguing views of Park University. The food is superbly prepared; the wine list uncommon and delicious, especially Alsatian options in the dry riesling category. From trout to beef and lamb one can't go wrong. Treat yourself and a dear one to a special night.

There has always been a small restaurant at the “Corner” in Riverside, Missouri. Enter Ed & Kathi Rule. They had never been in the restaurant business before, but they always felt they knew what good food was all about. It began on May 15, 1983, when they opened a little 40-seat cafe that served breakfast and lunch. The CORNER CAFE was born. Expansions and new buildings have been built, but we continue the traditions that started back in 1983. We strive to provide the best products, the best service, and the best value in an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re part of the family.
My Uncle took my wife and I to this restaurant while visiting the other day. We said we'd like some good down home cooking that was reasonably priced. Man, did he hit the nail on the head!
Corner Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and they have a ton of desserts and offer a children's menu. Very family friendly! This really is home cookin' at it's best! The portions are gigantic and the prices are really reasonable. The home made cinnamon rolls are bigger than softballs! I had the Pot roast sandwich with gravy and fries along with a cup of split pea and ham soup. I should have gotten the half-sandwich because I couldn't eat it all. My wife had pancakes, eggs and bacon, and, my uncle had the pork chop with eggs and hash browned potatoes. They couldn't finish theirs either! But man was it good. I'm just sorry we didn't have room for the gorgeous looking desserts!
This is a great family restaurant and has plenty of room for large parties. The restrooms were spotless. The restaurant is handicap accessible. They do not serve alcoholic beverages. They have "Daily Specials" every day as well as a "Vegetable of the Day."
We'll definitely be back to this Corner Cafe!

Parkville is a great little town. Parkville coffee has good food and delicious coffee. It is pretty cute on the inside and the upstairs is a quiet place to do homework or relax. It is also located in the middle of downtown so you can easily hop to the next store or go to English Landing park.

This was our first ever visit to this restaurant and this location. We were meeting friends for lunch. Nick & Jake's had been recommended. TA reviews were great, too! Let me begin with, You will love this place! The staff was friendly, patient and helpful. The food was unbelievably delicious. The manager even stopped by our table to check on us. Our group had the Asian salad, cuban sandwich, pear salad and chicken fried chicken. Each entree was a full serving, delicious and beautifully presented. Our waitress was knowledgable, admitting that she had tried everything on the menu. Everything was delivered on a timely basis. We enjoyed visiting and hated to leave. You will love this place!

We live in Kearney but our Son moved to the Parkville area and we discovered Roxanne's. Today we split a tenderloin dinner that was more than enough and was wonderful. We had Great service from Leslie and they were very busy!

We haven't been to this restaurant in years and it hasn't changed much. We were there with our son and family and we arrived about 5:30 and were seated pretty quick. The restaurant was soon packed with diners and drinkers. My wife has a chicken tostada that she enjoyed. I chose the Pork and Bean Burrito without the red sauce. The added cheese was enough and it was very tasty and a bit spicy. I like that as apposed to bland. Our sever did a great job for us. The food was a tad slow out of the kitchen but there were a lot a people there to feed.

Al's is much like Cheer's TV show. You mostly have local's who keep coming back for the social side as well as cold beer, great hot meaty wings, and sweet potato fries. It is a small establishment, but it stays hoping, with always a couple of seats opening up. There are several TV's on the wall, so you can catch a few sporting games and news. Al is the owner, a great guy who takes the time to walk around to talk to all of his friends and customers. To become know name, you need to come once a week, even if it for one beer! The staff is busy, but they always find time to take care of your needs. See you there!
