I had the pulled pork plate lunch and would have to say the pork was bland...actually very little taste. I was very disappointed since it had really great reviews. The beans had pieces of chicken in the mix?? Never experienced that before. Probably won't eat there again.

I've been going to this restaurant for over 12 years now. While I don't have photographic evidence, I swear it has been the exact same menu for all those years. Now, that said, I think anyone could find something they like and it will be acceptable or better quality. Of note, in a town with few, they have a full bar. I go there about once every other month and have never had a bad experience. Some of the better wait staff in the area makes it all that much more one of the few in town I'd recommend.

Instead of the myriad fast food restaurants along Mineral Wells, try this tasty alternative for lunch. They crank out spuds with various toppings as well as have other options for those who are on no- or low-carb diets. Fast and friendly service. Order at the counter and they deliver to your table. Diner style dining room atmosphere. Very popular, so plan accordingly.

Anyone who likes BBQ will tell you that Perry's is the BEST in Paris. They smoke everything and are known for their Chicken and Pulled Pork.

This fabulous Mexican Restaurant offers very authentic Mexican cuisine. Check out the website and review the menu - many wonderful offerings at a very affordable price. The buffet is offered Wed, Fri and Sun - 11am-4pm - inexpensive and SO worth stopping by and enjoy like we do. Go as early as possible - it gets busy. Excellent Customer Service - quick and professional.

Tuesday night is lasagna night at Olive Pit, and so I gave it a try. It was very good, as was the bread. The side salad was nothing special, just iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and onion. The service was good. I would go back.

Visiting the south after living away for a number of years. Looked forward to southern fried catfish and was a bit disappointed. The texture of the fish was not as expected, although the seasoning was tasty. Hush puppies were good, as was the slaw (one with vinegar and one with mayonnaise). Homemade coconut pie was very good!

Was in the area catching up on a little family history. Stopped in for a wick bite with my grandson pizza ok...salad bar ok...service good. Place has had a recent facelift outside but the inside is well dated and needs some attention. Prices are good and the staff seems to be pretty energetic....

We had 13 diners and the service was average. The food was excellent with the chips and salsa being some of the best I've eaten. The bathroom needed some attention but otherwise the evening was pleasant. Most everyone in our party was satisfied.

I was impressed by the country style cooking and how fresh everything tasted. I am not a big catfish fan but the fish was exceptional. Plenty to choose from and the kids got their belly full because of all the choices. my wife ordered off the menu and bragged on the pancakes. We will definitely be back.
