Paris Bakery is an artisan bakery in downtown Paris,TX. Our breads and pastries are handmade and baked each morning from fresh ingredients. Weekdays we are open for breakfast and lunch with a menu that varies daily and according to season. Saturday nights we serve neapolitan-style pizzas and (when weather permits) have live music in our courtyard.
DECOR: Partially restored
STAFF: Friendly and responsive.
MENU: limited but authentic.
This unpretentious bakery cafe had palmiers (and even knew how to pronounce it), French bread and the perfect chocolate croissant (lots of chocolate). I had a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and sourdough...not a strict French bread, but done in the French style...but toasted up wonderfully.
OVERALL: Excellent

I was expecting very good chocolate ice cream and hot fudge like the Braum's in Joplin, Missouri but it was not very good at the Paris location.
My great experience with the fantastic Austin Texas AMY's Ice Cream last week may have overshadowed the Braum's possibly, but it wasn't as good as Joplin!

Arrived at 8am on a Thursday. Only two others in line and lots of open seating. They seem to be a favorite of several locals as staff was addressing most by name. Looks to have an extensive breakfast menu. Their food looked good, but I wasn't real hungry so I got a 16oz caramel cappuccino and a cinnamon roll. The total was $6.15. I found a table and waited on my order. The staff is friendly and seems attentive. My cappuccino arrived first and although not a coffee product connoisseur, the cappuccino was good to me. A couple minutes later the cinnamon roll arrived. It wasn't great, nothing special at all. Tasted like a Pillsbury cinnamon roll. Center was soft and outer was a bit tough. Also seemed like it had been heated in the microwave as there were parts that were luke warm and others boiling lava hot.
Bottom line, wasn't too impressed with the food, but I had only a cinnamon roll. Would come back to try a full breakfast if in the area again.

Excellent hometown coffee shop! Starbucks has nothing on this place! The selection is wonderful and there's always good food and pastries as well!

I did the 3 meat platte4, 1 lb of meat. All choices very tender. I did Turkey, sliced beef and pork. All had nice exterior, pink throughout. They even let me taste sausage, still moist. Baked beans were sweet. Green beans strained before serving. Delicious sweet tea, nice vege bar with onions and pickles. Surprise was the free small I've cream cones. I go back, great prices.

we stopped in to get a birthday cake and were told the strawberry cake with cream cheese icing was one of the best sellers, well now we know why!! It was REALLY good.
I also ordered a couple of the snicker-doodle cookies to go and they were nice and moist and flavorful.
So glad we stopped here.

Coffee shop in Paris TX. By Paris Jr College. Supposedly put S-Bucks out of business when the franchise came to town. Great latte's and variety of offerings.
Paris coffee is a busy local coffee shop that definitely has it going on. We had the privilege of visiting in December of 2015 and again here in May 2016. The espresso is excellent, I drink americanos. There is one gal that works there that is so on the ball, I wish I knew her name but her barista skills and customer service skills are excellent. I owned my own cafe for 10 years and I can tell you she will see to it that you have an excellent espresso as she is the main barista. The sad thing is they are not open on Sunday's.

Great burgers. Good service. We ordered a large order of cheese fries to go with our cheeseburgers; it was huge! The great thing about the cheese fries...there is cheese on every fry, not just the top layer. You sit on fountaintain stools at the counter...wish there was more room in the place, because they do get a good amount of hungry people in there! You can also eat outside. Prices are very low. Cash only! Can’t wait to go back.
