We weren't overly impressed the first time we tried Jade's but the food didn't improve over time.
We ordered a variety of items including Hot and Sour Soup and Chicken Balls with Pineapple Sauce and some Sweet and Sour Shrimp.
The Hot and Sour Soup was spicy enough but lacking in chicken and shrimp. The shrimp in the soup were those small, pre-cooked, tasteless, salad shrimps. No texture, no taste. Big fail.
The Chicken Balls and the Shrimp turned out to be mainly breading. That is just wrong. Another big fail. Please look at the photo of the Chicken Balls and Shrimp.
Not recommended.

Gus, owner of this marvelous dining spot; and, a friend of many many years, offers only the best in food and service to everyone who dines at The Olde School House. There is nothing negative that can be said about a dining experience at his place, unless you cannot get a table because he is fully booked which is most often the case. Superb in every way....

Great atmosphere if only the food matched. I had ribs and smoked Turkey, side of salad. I have never had ribs that were crunchy before and slathered with so much sauce. Weird and not in a good way. The Turkey - I could NOT put my finger on what it tasted like until I remember my youth and old fashioned TV dinners. It was all around awful.

Revisited Cedar House Sunday evening after a few months away.
We did not have Reservations, which is pretty well needed for a Sunday meal. The hostess was able to accommodate us though. We sat outside in the patio area which happened to be very enjoyable.
Ordered the prime rib special (on for Friday, Saturday and Sundays).
Loved the prime rib with loaded baked potato and vegetable. The service provided by the hostess / server (Tara) was very good. Came by several times to check on us to ensure that all was good.
In looking at the menu, we may in the future some of their other entrees.

This coffee shop is now under a new name and looked like it could be good. The location is great with a fantastic deck looking over the water. The food was okay but super slow for the quality. We could have overlooked this if it wasn't for the fact that while waiting for our food I was suddenly doused with what I hoped was water from the deck above. Starting to say the very least. While I went in to clean up my friend went into talk to the staff. The woman that she spoke with was fairly indifferent and no one offered to help clean up the table or even offer a cloth so that we could do so. Eventually the same woman finally came out to investigate. It turned out that someone from the restaurant upstairs (Stillwater) had knocked over a container of standing rain water and it had spilled down through the decks. At no point did anyone apologize (from either restaurant) or show any concern. The even more disappointing aspect of this visit is that the woman that my friend spoke with was the owner. Really? Does she want anyone to ever return? Needless to say will never darken the doors of either restaurant?

Went with three friends on a Saturday night. The place was pretty busy, but we were able to get a table right away. Our server was personable and efficient. Really liked the atmosphere and the overall feel. As for the food, we shared the Macaroni Bites, and Antojitos which everyone seemed to enjoy. For mains, I had one of the burgers; while it had good flavour, the meat was quite dry. Two of my dining partners had wraps, and the third, wings; they were all quite pleased with their meals. All in all a good experience, definitely worth a return trip.

We were looking for a half-way point for meeting out-of-town friends for breakfast and when Paris was suggested as a possibility, our friend said that he’d seen good reviews of Scott’s Family Restaurant on Trip Advisor. Four of us had breakfast there and thoroughly enjoyed the food along with friendly attentive service.
The breakfast menu is extensive and we ordered eggs benedict, an omelette, as well as a crêpe which was filled with scrambled eggs and bacon. Our meals came with side dishes, such as fruit and oatmeal and when ordering fried potatoes, we had a choice between deep-fried and pan-fried types.
We’ll definitely return to Scott’s the next time we’re near Paris!

Our first visit was for lunch last weekend. Friendly greeting at the door and had a nice corner booth. Our waitress was helpful and very friendly and we were looked after very well. Busy spot with birthdays going on, etc. Lots of variety on the menu and lots to eat on your plate.

Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?
Visited this Swiss Chalet on 4 occasions in the past 6 months. Everytime it has been mediocre at best. Tonight visit was awful. I'd your promoting your new menu items they should be prepared properly. I understand " chain restaurant food" as owned one for years but serving food that is not edible is unacceptable. Rice was literally hard as a rock and dry as sand. I'm not sure it was even cooked. Kids meals should be prepared at an equal level as adult meals....pizza again was not cooked and my kids would not even eat it. Sorry Paris Swiss Chalet you don't measure up to other locations....
