Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of dishes, but very fresh products and well executed, in a nice typical setting by the water in the little port which has an amazing view. prices are market prices [sea critters are not cheap]
You cannot go wrong.

"Limanaki" is a family business that combines beautiful Tinian flavors and Mediterranean cuisine in a wonderful environment with the backdrop of the "Planet" and literally means the blue waters of Panormos ...
Located on the small port, this traditional family run tavern has very good food and "mezedes" . We enjoyed the "melitzanasalata" eggplant salad and other fresh "mezedes". We also liked the small goat "katsikaki" with lemon sauce "lemonato" which was tender and cooked perfectly. The local red and white wine were both good! They also serve the local NISSOS beer , made on the island ! If you want fish, walk a bit further to "Marina", which is a fish tavern. We ate there too!

The restaurant's location is amazing. Sea view, romantic, protected by the wind. The staff was polite, kind and eager to help. Fish soup is served as appetizer and ice-cream as dessert, both free of charge. However the food is pretty average. We ordered spaghetti with shrimps for two persons. The shrimps were small/medium size and kinda tough, while the linguini needed boiling for a couple more minutes to be considered al dente. And it cost 30 euros. Definitely not value for money, and definitely not the top restaurant in Tinos.

We had booked ahead of time and the table was not ready for us.
We had to wait standing for 20 minutes and another 30 to get a waiter for water and menus when the restaurant was not full.
We arrived at 8:30 and started eating at 9:45!!
The waiter was preparing us for difficulties to get what we had chosen from the menu(!)
They forgot one dish and tried to convince us that we had ordered too much and we wouldn't have eaten it!!
There was no desert available
Very bad organisation
Quite unprofessional
Too bad for such good recommendations and lovely location

"Ta Mironia" is located in Pyrgos which I dare say is the loveliest village of Tinos.
It is the only tavern among various coffee & pastry shops and although there is no competition around, the people who run it do their best to please. We sat down to eat really late but they still welcomed us and served us with a smile.
I recommend the mushrooms cooked in wine and the pie with local cheese. Their house wine is also really good.

Sadly we only visited this cafe on our last day. We had cheese and tomato toasties and a Pain au Chocolat which was huge and freshly baked. Fantastic service.

Paleta is friendly, family run restaurant with a carefully handwritten menu in 3 languages, each page with a story; 'Stories of the Sea' Stories of the Field' etc... We ate crunchy calamari, fresh wild salad, and the glorious ' Spaghetti of the Fisherman' with enormous prawns and mussels along with giant beans cooked in tomato sauce. All highly recommended. The owner was attentive but not intrusive, helped by his family in the open kitchen at the rear. Sitting in the pretty, peaceful harbour watching local fisherman prepare for the evening's catch made this our best food experience so far on the island of Tinos.

The cutest guys on the square. By far. The coffee is nice. Can't say I liked the Deserts or the ice cream. Still, I'm glad that's where we chose to sit.

This great place is open all year and offers great dishes, many of which are traditional Tinos dishes and some others that have the traditional "base" with interesting additions according to the inspirations of Nikos, the owner. The friwndliness and smile of Nikos and Katerina will be followed by wonderful tastes in a place "hidden" in the small street of the beautiful village of Aetofolia. If you are very lucky, you may find Nikos and his friends playing Greek music, otherwise you will be simply lucky having not missed it!

We make our dough fresh, right in our store, every day, creating fresh handmade pasta, which, after allowing it to rest and dry in a natural way, we fill with (mostly local) vegetables, fresh meats by small producers, fine cheeses, homemade sauces and dressings in a happy alliance of Greek, Mediterranean and Italian cuisine.<br>We’ll be waiting for you to come and taste our candy-like closed peinirlis, fresh handmade pasta and pizza, made the same day, as well as refreshing cocktails concocted by mixologist Giorgos Tsirikos.
I didn't taste the fresh pasta, but we tried the pizza and as Italian I think pizza is completely another thing from how is made to how is cooked. Anyway the restaurant is beautiful.
