This is a former railroad station, with the tables in the large waiting room. Many props to the owners for saving the station and making this a restaurant. Yes, as mentioned above, the owners need a good conductor to keep this train running on time and making money. Our late January dinner was a case of mass confusion. Our nice server admitted to being frazzled -- she was also working a large birthday party. Our meals were just average. The bar tender seemed to have nothing to do, while the servers were almost running. At the end, they gave our bill to another table and then tried to give us their bill. Eventually they worked this out. Probably will not return.

Seasonal Dairy Bar with outdoor seating.
I've had better ice cream. My husband and I both had issues with ice crystals in our ice cream. It also had an odd consistency. I had the chocolate cherry chunk but the chocolate chunks tasted chalky and not chocolately. My husband had the key lime pie and said the flavor was good. I don't think I'd go back for ice cream.

These guy are everywhere. Had a fresh donut that melted in the mouth. Use the drive up and was fast and courteous. The breakfast burrito was a little thin on substance. Service was great.

We made our annual visit to Pekarski Sausage (for the best kielbasa) and while we were selecting our meats a guy was making a delivery of pies & pastries, setting them along the top of the display cases. We couldn't resist some blueberry danish and added it to our order. Turns out they were from another Polish gem, Tyburski's Countryside Bakery. The danish were amazing, so we went on a mission to find the source. Thorndike/Palmer was only 30 minutes away, so we went and bought several of their items. The pastries are awesome, especially the Danish. Fruit pies are too. Prices are very reasonable and everything is fresh. It also freezes well, so we stocked up (we're from VA).

I love Dunkin Donuts coffee. Once in a while they get the coffee wrong but if you have time and tell them they will make the right coffee for you. I service is pretty good. I was disappointed when I went to buy a coffee coolatta and they don't make them any longer...bummer..

We were disappointed that this particular franchise of Friendly's was really unkempt. The floors were very dirty - food was strewn about in many places. The food portions were much smaller than other Friendly's we've been too, especially the fries, which come in a little basket that deceive you into thinking there is a decent portion inside, but there isn't. The highlight was our waitress who was fabulous (I don't recall her name but she's brunette and tall). We probably won't return though.

My wife & I decided on a whim to stop in for lunch this past Tuesday. We'd passed it several times and it looked too cute NOT to try it.
First impression, it's as adorable inside and out. Visually, everything you could want for a farm-style cafe.
That was the good...
We sat several minutes without anyone coming to greet us or get a drink order. Finally, someone asked what we'd like to drink. Shortly after our drink arrived our server (not the person who took our drink order) arrived. My wife had some questions and we felt the server was curt and bothered by the simple questions.
We placed our orders, my wife went with a lobster roll special and I went with some sandwich with Turkey, corned beef and roast beef (don't remember the name), and a side of corned beef hash.
While we waited for our food, we could hear our server become aggravated (loudly) with one of the other staff.
Our food came, the gas was very good!
My sandwich looked and tasted like a poor Scholtzky's sandwich. "OK" at best but not "Bad".
My wife's lobster roll was a mess! Very little lobster and a huge roll (making the lobster seem less). She said the sandwich wasn't good either and was salty and had too much celery, overpowering the flavor.
We never saw our server again until the end of the meal. No check back, nothing.
My wife stated her issues with the lobster roll (minus the single bite she took) and asked if be taken off the bill. No problem.
Then, from behind the counter, we heard the server argue that the lobster roll was fine and nothing was wrong with it.
Really? Arguing, even passively with a guest?
We also found out the rude server was the MANAGER! Really?!?!
I've been in food service for 23 years. I've heard every position in a restaurant. I have worked for some of the best names in service (think a Mouse!)
I moved to New England last year, and this was single-handedly our WORST dining experience since moving.
Just rude, unnecessary service.
We shall not return and cannot recommend anyone else do the same.

Had a disappointing meal here after a long drive. Needed someplace along the drive and didn't want fast food. Would have rather had McDonalds. My pasta dish had zero flavor. I'm pretty sure the shrimp were frozen. The brisket said it came with BBQ sauce but came with gravy. It really was just pot roast. No bread to start. Slow service. Atmosphere is severely lacking.

This building has been many things over the years and the exterior does nothing to make you want to try the food. The interior is small and has limited seating but is very clean. Service was quick and friendly. The menu has many choices from sushi to Thai to Japanese to Chinese. I had a lunch special that included chow mein, fried rice and chicken fingers. Everything was fresh, not greasy and delicious. Portions were generous. Even my fortune cookie was good. I will definitely be back.

My wife and I went here today for breakfast.. We were seated but never given menus... We noticed the young girl server flirting with a couple of young men at the counter.. Finally the young girl came by with menus apologizing because "the other woman...MoreHelp can make or break any business - I apologize for any and all my (former) employees that made your visit to my place uncomfortable!
