I went for lunch on a friday and the place was empty, no atmosphere at all! Food was good but very very expensive! Difficult to compete with other restaraunts in O Preto with better prices and atmosphere !

We had a lunch there and bypassed the luncheon specials for some menu items that looked really appealing. The choice meant that it took a bit longer to get our lunch but it was worth the wait. We had a front table and the people-watching outside helped pass the time. Service was friendly and capable. We enjoyed the meal and wanted to go back, but it appeared closed for holiday when we tried.

We came to this restaurant after a friend’s recommendation. And yes, it a great pick. Good piano and drum jazz repertoire, candle light, wide wine selection for us to choose to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary! I had a tasty fish dish flown in that morning, thinking how true it is that you can eat fish, meat, salmon or lobster anywhere you are in the world. We had a great evening and enjoyed every minute of it. If you come, reserve ahead of time, a seat in the veranda: cool and great view!

Go early is advice for all buffets; but in particular this one because although their sign says open until 1700, by 1600 they were already closed. Anyway, we went the next day. What a great space, decorated in the "Cabinet of Curiosities" style, i.e. busy. Allow at least a half hour to look at the walls. The food is wonderful, too, a cross section of the local cuisine. You will walk it off on the way back to your hotel; Ouro Preto has a lot of vertical.

I enjoyed my lunch here particularly because the restaurant is so nice and cozy inside. The decoration is rustic and very interesting.we had a buffet lunch, everything looked very good and very fresh. I was disappointed by there not being a fish or vegetarian option (there was salad but the hot dishes were all meat or chicken). It is medium priced, not too expensive but definitely not cheap. The service was great though, very sweet and attentive waiters.

You've been to this restaurant for dinner and, although we've found a good wine well price and the service is really good, the food disappointed us. I have pasta (pumpkin ravioli with tomato sauce) and husband had risotto and both were correct, but nothing special. So, it's a good option overall, but not great food.

Bem-te-vi has honest flavorful food in a place of overpriced dining. The food is simple but well made and the service is friendly.

A nice restaurant serving well-executed classics international cuisine. The wine and beer lists are good. The service is very good. The atmosphere is pleasant and there are always great bands (blues, jazz, brazilian jazz). The restaurant has several settings, all small. To listen and see the band, you should reserve a table.

Paulina the owner was amazing! She was friendly and helpful. They recommended "chicken parmesan" which I thought was western but turns out to be a Brazilian dish with okra sauce. It was so good! I wish I could finish it but it came with a lot of chicken, creamy mashed potato AND rice. Highly recommended!
