After a delicious cream soup, the chef had demonstrated his skills by filleting the utmost fresh turbot fish, while the gills melted in our mouth; served with witloof;
we appreciate very much our second visit to this nice restaurant,
Peter Van der Aa knows how to serve first quality fresh fish
We will make a reservation when we come to visit again the nice Promenade of Ostend,
closed on wednesday and thursday, only a few steps from the Kusttram stop.

We went for the dover soles and the ray. Both perfect with crispy salad and good fries. Some good wines by the glass. A place to go back to.

Excellent menu, great asparagus dishes. Loved everything, real French cuisine for a reasonable price. A bit of a wait, but that is normal as the food is prepared right there. It is worthwhile in any case!

Moroccan cuisine in Paris rings my bell but not particularly in local Belgium town like Ostend, but I found it was my stupid prejudice. Veggie menus are extensive, which pleased my wife. We all had the entrée such as stewed Merges, vegetables,
fish soup followed by couscous with Merges, veggies, chicken. They were all delicious.
Madam was friendly, not intrusive at all, the chef who came to greet was very sympathique, they are forming a good team and that reflects to their good cooking and relaxed ambience. If we were the local here, we would certainly be a patron.
Simply recommendable.

This romantic restaurant offers a good quality- price meal (fondue)! Even if it's not the cheapest restaurant in the neighborhood, you won't be disappointed! The portions are big and everything is fresh and perfect quality. We are always easy to be contacted by e-mail!
The food is very high quality, the meats are tender, the homemade sauces are simple but get the job done. The owner has a special view of things that will rub some people the wrong way but not us. Running an honest business costs a fortune in Belgium. Quality also costs money, and so does good service.

After Reading the reviews already posted on TripAdvisor we visited this restaurant this evening. The antipasti was amazing! A huge plate of roasted vegetables, breads and a selection of meats. A beautiful quality starter but be warned, huge to eat before your meal. The mains were also beautiful wholesome meals but also not for the faint hearted in portion size. The service and prices were also extremely good.
Highly recommended would definitely visit again.

Close to the Casino and the beachfront
Having been to quite a few restaurants in Ostend, I was decided to find out why Moretti's scored so high on Tripadvisor. Strange... no warm welcome as one would expect in an Italian place. The interior actually looks like a run-down snack bar. My gnocchi al pesto was just ok, quantity over quality. The mystery remains, but definitely no return visit for me.

This restaurant isbquit small located on first floor. As the name is saying they are specialised in seafood in particular lobsters. They offer a rich variety of all kinds of lobster preparation, some menues, and few a la carte dishes. everything we had tasted excellent, wine card offer enough choice.Service is very attentive and friendly. A perfect location, not cheap but definitivley worth the emony.

This was recommended to us by colleagues, as a cous cous speciality place. Not sure what to expect, but when we ordered, chicken, spicy sausage, or vegetables. Or a comination of two or all three ot them.
Worked really, really well, and came with apparently unlimited refills of cous cous and vegetables.
Only downside was they don't accept credit or debit cards. Came as a surprise.
