We recently had dinner in this superb restaurant.
We were welcomed by the friendly staff and seated at our table. We had chosen the five course 'menu gastronomique' and kicked off with some excellent amuses. This was followed by a tartare, codfish and smoked eel, Mul with shrimps, mango and couscous, Duck with goose liver and pumpkin and finally babana with chocolate and salted macadamia. All these dishes looked like pictures perfect and tasted heavenly.
From the impressive winelist we chose a wide selection of wines, some also recommended by the maitre. Prices of the wines are by the way quite impressive as well, but we 'managed' to pick excellent bottles in the region of € 60,00/70,00 per bottle. Their water supply was hefty, we could also easily trace back on our final bill. However, having said that, it was worth it.
Heavenly food, nice place, comfy seats, good vibe, great staff and hands on maitre D slash sommelier all resulted in a great evening. This place truly deserves its star, including the high rankin the the 'Lekker' restaurant guide.

In the center of the town Oss you'll find Brasserie La Colline. From early morning till late you can have a cup of coffee with pastries, a delicious lunch, an extensive dinner and of course a good glass of beer or glass of wine. Inside or outside, by week or weekend, on the Terrace or in the restaurant: it flows over comfortably. We are sure that you'll have a great time with us. Come and experience yourself why La Colline is called the living room of Oss!
This is a very nice cafe, in a good setting, with an excellent beer selection, and friendly service. The menu has a nice basic range for a cafe.

I had quite high expectations for this restaurant in the hart of Oss. Web promished a lot as well as entrance. Once entered in to the restaurant I noticed that rstaurant was operated by Chinese, nothing against Chinse, but I was looking good Japanese resteurant not commercial look a like one. At this time we only tested restaurant, some luck there, and took out selected sushi and sashimi dishes as well as one warm starter
First negative thing came up when we ordered sushi fro menu, picture was, as usual, pair of sushi but to get that we have to order 2 item! So sushi was not sold by pair even picture told so. Well price was more or less for 2, so maybe they just change that at some point and tried to get more money for nothing. We continued ordering also some set of temaki and pair of Inari sushi as well. For starter we ordered some Wagyu beef with vegetables.
We paid an order - 44€ (4 pair nigirisushi, 2 Inari sushi and 8makisushi + 6 maki with unagi + starter 3 small wagyu roll with vegetables and mushrooms)
After 30min we went back and picked up our order and noticed that backs were really light. I know that sushi is light stuff, but still. Well we walked back to home and opened
boxes and looked what we got. Well bacically we got what we ordered, but well seriously so little and small sushi I have never seen before. Maki rolls were cut different size - all, not 2 at same size. and Unagi, I have to look into the maki twice to be able to see that there is some unagi inside. Inarisushi was made using one inari pocked for 2 inari sushi, so one end was open even rice should be coverred all over. What comes to nigiri, size was about half of my small finger size, and I do not have so big hands. Starter, well I could see some meat and vegetables with mushrooms, but not like 3 balls or rolls more like mixture of those. Size was small, but well it was starter.
Taste was ok, nothing really badly wrong, but nothing so good. Rice was not perfect, a bit dry and tastless, but could be more bad. At least it was kooked more or less correct time, so it was not hard to eat. Fish was quite fress and scallops on the nigiri was actually quite good.
I cannot say too much about restaurant but what I can, I saw from the door that there were some people eating and they were dressed with Yukata or "kimono" style clothes, quite embarrassing looking. Never seen that in any other real Japanese restaurants.
I have been in the many Japanese restaurants also here in The Netherlands, also for example Okura - 1 start Japanese restaurant in the Amsterdam. There I ate full meny including drinks and spend just a bit more than at this place. There quality was perfect and here - Not. So I cannot really recommend this restaurant at all. I cannot see to who this could fit on? Open only at evenings.

it's a small restaurant in a small street of the centre of Oss, but it's a real gem. On weekend's it's best to reserve a table because usually they are full the entire evening. They have a variaty of approximately 50 different tapas. No fancy stuff, but the ingredients are of an excellent quality which you can taste through all the dishes.
Very friendly staff, and the prices are spot on.

Athiste Mahal is a very fine Indian restaurant. We were surprised to be the only guests on a Thursday evening. All the dishes we chose were excellent and my favourite was a chicken tandoori. Very, Very tender chicken indeed. Glasses with Lassi complemented our meal.
Very recommendable.

The food and service were excellent. As with seemingly everyone in the Netherlands, the english speaking ability of the staff was also very good.
In addition, they were able to do most regular menu items gluten free. I ate with much confidence because when the waiter served the food, the Chef came out and with great pride, discussed the gluten free bread and how he seasoned it with garlic & butter. He clearly was proud of his food (rightly so) and that he could offer his dishes as gluten free.
My colleague & I shared our dishes and the restaurant was fine with this as well, i.e., the atmosphere was relatively casual - like a family restaurant. It's a good choice whether you want usual or gluten free food (to be clear, this a conventional restaurant, not a special gluten free one).

Nice and cosy place to have a good diner. Service is good
When the weather allows, it's also a great place to sit outside on the Terrace.
Food is very decent, this in combination with the vibrant atmosphere, it makes your diner with friends or family really enjoyable. Can recommend this place.

I got the 3 course meal, which includes a self-serve bar of appetizers, first, and second course - all very reasonably priced at €25. I could've had a meal of just the appetizers, they were so tasty! Roasted red peppers, fresh bread, tomato & fresh mozzarella, grilled veggies...For the main courses, there's a small menu so I'm not sure if it changes often, but I had the shrimp croquette and chicken with a mustard-type sauce. Both delicious. Best meal I've had in a long time, certainly in Oss!
The staff was lovely and very attentive. There was no English menu so they went through each dish option with us at the table. Service was perfectly timed as well.
To top it off, the place has such a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is in the same room, so you can watch your food being prepared! Loved it. If I'm ever back in Oss, I'm coming here.
