I got a great burger and fries when I stopped to shop at the Smucker Store. I was hungry and did not know about the café. I got my order in before a rush and had some macadamian nut cookies as an appetizer. My burger was country good and prepared in a flash. I am so glad I stopped at the store to pick up a few things and try the café. It was one of the highlights of a visit to the Orville area.

This is the place to go for donuts old time cream-sticks, with chocolate, vanilla, or maple icing and great white, fluffy, filling. Home made cookies, bearclaws, all the good stuff. Need a cake for a birthday or anniversary party. Michael's Bakery cakes look good and taste great. Get some jiuce or coffee and sit and enjoy!

Just got some Christmas Cookies while the bakers were still icing them. Wow! Best light creamy icing, very thick, and cookies have a good fresh texture. Good looking cookies too. Great Sprinkles (see photo). Much better than Cheryl's in Columbus. Are they as good as the (apparently now closed) Bierberg Bakery in the German Village neighborhood of Columbus? The Faithful's cookies are more American than the German cookies from Bierberg, so comparing is apples and oranges. Parking in rear and walk thru the alley.

Located downtown Orville, this is a good local Tavern with an Ohio State theme. A number of TVs set to different sporting events. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Reasonable prices. Known for their burgers but we did not try them. Some food was very good, some was average. You can tell which food is frozen from the local restaurant supply company. Overall, a nice stop and good for a meal.

I love this DQ for taking the grandkids to. Great $4 deal with a sundae for the kids. Food is always freshly made and hot. Kids love the place and it is cool during the hot days. Seems very kid friendly.

Yesterday over breakfast at Mrs. J's, I had the pleasure of reminiscing and catching up with a dear friend who moved away 30 years ago.
Barbie and her husband Darrin own and operate this hometown, home style, popular eatery that opens early for breakfast and lunch only. Their food is nothing fancy, but is very good and reasonably priced. Their staff is courteous, always smiling and very attentive.
My friend enjoyed the day's special: two eggs, hashbrowns and sour dough toasted bread. I ordered their pancakes yesterday which were very good and very filling. Their waffles and omlets are also my favorite breakfasts that I enjoy.
Mrs. J's is a popular restaurant and meeting place for family and friends of all ages.

Excellent soup & salad bar . They serve breakfast also including corn meal mush. Small town restaurant with a good variety on menu. Lots of sandwiches , but also common american favorites . Strongly recommend the salad bar including homemade bread and spreads, 5 soups including broccoli and cheese ( my favorite ) and chili, 8-10 dressings , heavenly rice ,1-2 flavors of yogurt and 2 -3 types of pudding. Food is Americana &. Nothing overly special on menu but service is usually very good & friendly .

New management increased the menu and reduced the prices. try the Mexican Tacos with some of their special sauces! You will see familiar faces with the staff, and a couple servers who had left also returned. The patio is the best part of this restaurant where you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air during the warm months.

While typical of many neighborhood Chinese restaurants, the atmosphere is lacking, but the food is great. The combo meals include an entree, fried rice and an egg roll. I particularly enjoy the egg foo yung and moo shu pork. Everything I have tried is good. The lunch buffet is decent and very inexpensive. I never eat in the restaurant and it is unusual to find anyone eating in for dinner. But for quick, inexpensive take out it beats fast food and is a family favorite when our family comes for a visit. Service is friendly and many call in their orders before coming to pick it up.

We had a seminar in the banquet room for approx 60 to 70 people. Dinner was buffet style. The food was hot and delicious. The chef was carving fresh prime rib. Service was excellent.
