We had both lunch and dinner here. Found the food and service to be excellent. Very good location on the Loire River and Orleans canal. Chalk board menu that cahnges frequently. Every dish we had was terrific. Very pretty presentation.Good wine list with lots of Loire Valley wines. We like to chose a local wine.

Value for money. Simple and tasty ingredients and produces. No brainier recipes for a simple and hearty dinner. Tiny long and very warm indoor dining room. And outdoors sitting. Half the patrons knew the waiters and everyone was kissing each other. Relax French atmosphere !! Were sitting outside and enjoyed an Italian tartine, two monstrous salades and a good glass of red. Mojito was bitter. This is not a gastronomic place. It's a typical good bistro. To be recommended. And to go back to.

We dined here during a one night visit to Orleans. We opted for the 3 course menu and had the additional bonus of an amuse bouche. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. We paid €70 for two with wine included and both agreed we would have paid over £100 for the same standard of food in the UK. Well worth a visit.

Getting a table is very hard as the place is very trendy with locals. Book well in advance to avoid disappointment. The menu changes all the time and we very much enjoyed products in season. The food is very well presented and service attentive.Bonjour, Je vous remercie pour ce très joli commentaire, Au plaisir de vous retrouver, Très cordialement, Marie-Laure Sterne

Excellent in every way! We ate here after our day trip from Paris to the loire valley Every item we ordered was fabulous. The menu is fairly limited but every item is garden fresh and prepared wonderfully. The restaurant is small with maybe 10 tables and a nice quiet outdoor Seating area. It has good AC which was a welcome relief from the heat. It is run by a husband and wife team and feels very friendly. The food quality is superb and would cost two to three times as much in Paris. Loved it!!! Would go back in a heartbeat

Lunch on the way up to the channel. Three areas to comment on:
Decor / ambience : lovely old building sympathetically restored and effectively decorated and presented. Good quality and taste in all respects.
Service: impeccable. Friendly and professional staff who go out of the way to help and make you at ease - guest rather than clients. Good to see the chef patron taking the time to talk to all customers not just the regulars.
Food: Superb in every detail. Dishes which combine originality with a flair and lot of thought in their conception together with skill in execution. The 35 euro lunchtime menu is a positive bargain and while offering only two choices from the menu that gets you four clever dishes together with cheese and dessert. Hard to pick a star dish but the nougat souffle edges it. Aperitifs, wine and coffee to a very high standard and remarkably reasonable for the standard of the food, decor and service.

We were very pleased by our visit to this charming restaurant. It is small and has a family-run feeling, with an interesting modern decor and decorative touches to create a feeling of intimacy and privacy. The menu is limited, however the choices are interesting, well-prepared and beautifully presented. Service is excellent.

First class food at very reasonable prices. Went a la carte and was not disappointed. Oysters were very fresh and tasty, bass cooked to perfection and the lobster risotto was sublime! All washed down with a bottle of chablis (€33). Pleasant venue and service, a truly French, seafood experience! Go there, you will enjoy...not your usual tourist haunt.

Oddly enough, I've never been very impressed with any creperie restaurant that I've tried in France. So I was pleasantly surprised to have found delicious crepes, both salty and sugary! They are homemade, and there are some very creative and tasty combinations on the menu, if you are looking for something outside of the tradition ham & cheese. And the dessert crepes were absolutely dangerous! So good! Plus, the staff is super friendly and it's a very fun decor inside. Reservations are recommended though, because it's small. Don't be in a rush either, as it does some time to get served...but it's well-worth it! Highly recommended.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We turned up without a booking but they gave us a good welcome. The food was excellent and good value for money
