The Baroque Palace of Oradea is simply epic. Now a museum, the 18th-century building is home to an outdoor bronze and marble statue park, Transylvanian folk art and a collection of animal remains that includes dinosaur fossils. You could spend days here, but try to make some time for other Oradea attractions, such as the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings of Str. Republicii, the astronomical clock of the Biserica cu Lună, and the Băile Felix thermal spa.

We had booked a table for six, only to realise it was positioned close to the restrooms. Apparently it was the only table available, but I would've appreciated if they gave us this detail when we did the booking.
The waitress brought us three menus with food and only one for drinks. ONE for six people. By the time she came for the orders only two of us had managed to browse it. Then she didn't come again for a rather long time.
We said we'd order together so that the food arrives for all at the same time. We stressed this, but it was no problem for the waitress to bring us some plates 20 minutes earlier than the others. My food got cold before all food arrived.
The service was very slow even for a busy evening. The food was below average. Fancy names for the dishes, but it was something similar to fast food. My boyfriend's salmon pasta looked and tasted nice. The pizza was average too.

Great food and good value for money. An elegant place with an excellent serving! I highly recommend it!
Being a local and a client of this restaurant for more than 4 years, I would expect some improvement from its side.
The food is great in the majority of the time but is it that hard to find some polite and helpful waiters?
Two years ago there was one good guy there and now all of them are bored as hell and making long faces, even though we are eating there at least twice a month…
Another disappointing thing is the fact that last year we weren’t allowed on the Terrace, outside with a small dog. They told us that there were some clients complaining about a dog drinking water from a bowl that elatedly belongs to the same set as the rest of the plates for the clients. So, instead of buying some metal ones for pets, they just banned them from the place.

Rinomato Ristorante Di Cucina Italiana, Specilaizzato In Piatti Di Pesce E Carne ,a Oradea In Romania , nel Ristorante non si fuma .
If you are looking for a cozy place, with delicious food and good wine, Corsarul Restaurant is the place for you.
All their specialties are absolutely delicious, but their "zupa di pesce" remains my absolute favorite...it's basically a seafood stew slowly cooked for two hours. That's why if you want to order this dish (which can come in portions for 2-3-4-5 people) please make sure to give them a call in advance and order it.
My dad is in love with their pizza and their steak. They don't do deliveries but still you can give them a call and ask for pick up and you can enjoy the food at home.
I never ate something there that I didn't like, so basically whatever you choose for sure you'll be pleased with it.
During the evenings (not only in weekend) it might get crowded so to save yourself some energy, it is better to call and make a reservation in advance.
If you want to smoke, make sure to ask for a Terrace table - they have warmers so don't worry, you won't be cold in the wintertime.
If you end up eating there in the strawberry season, make sure you ask for their strawberry tagliata specialty and have for dessert the strawberry tiramisu - absolutely delicious!

This place has great food, portions being really big and food tasty. We ordered beef soup, beef stew with side dish, pork neck, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes and fried cheese (cascaval pane) and everything was delicious.
Location is also really good, being close to city centre.
Also, the waitress was ok, having in mind that we were big and loud group

Dropped in here for a quick coffee and croissant on the way to the airport. Very friendly staff, the coffee was perfectly okay but Ristretto did have options that were more to my personal taste. Very lively at 9 on a Monday morning which was nice, quite a pleasant young crowd. Good local cafe!

It is a small coffee place, with a variety of coffee options and small bites, such as sandwiches. The only thing I do not particularly like about it is the fact that it is very crowded and lacks comfort in that aspect.

Had coffee during lunch time and dinner at night. The table (lay-out of cutlery, glasses, etc) could use more attention. Preparation of the food (we had calamari and prawns as starter and pork chop and Angus steak) was blend and nothing special. Cost - quality ratio could be better. The Pinot Grigio was very nice though.
