The South Okanagan has gained a well deserved reputation as a desirable destination for tourists seeking an agricultural and culinary experience. The Sonora Room at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery features prominently in this regard with its epicurean excellence, superb service, relaxed style and scenic splendour. The restaurant overlooks 146 acres of picturesque vineyard from the patio or inside the warm and inviting dining room. The philosophy of the talented culinary team is to embrace the opportunity to showcase many of the South Okanagan’s local producers. Dishes are created that utilize an array of local organic produce, seasonal fruits and artisan cheeses, and pair perfectly with Burrowing Owl's award winning wines. The exclusive wine list includes a selection of Burrowing Owl's current vintages, and library wines that are no longer publicly available for sale. Creative cuisine, impeccable service and a beautiful venue highlight the great agricultural diversity of the region.
What an incredibly wonderful dining experience! Service by Ingela was so warm and personable. She was fabulous. The menu offered some wonderful choices. We were treated to a complimentary appetizer of house smoked duck breast served with pickled cauliflower. The beet and apple salad was big enough to share and had a nice combination of flavours. The house made rolls (sour dough dill and rye) were great. The grilled pork chop was served with green lentils, roasted root veggies and tourtière. The special of the night was a beautiful creamy risotto with seared scallops on a mint celeriac purée. Fresh coffee and a complimentary chocolate cake truffle ended a perfect evening. We had no room for desert!

Absolutely the best butter chicken I've ever had, they have a scale of how spicy you want the food which runs from a 1 to 10. I had a 3 and it was perfect for me, just a slightly spicy taste. The naan bread was also very delicious. The restaurant was clean and well kept. Over all a very enjoyable experience.

This is a small folksy cafe. One orders at the counter from a wall menu. A variety of teas and coffee from mild to French roast - it was good and strong. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with homemade sauce and potato pan fries. All made to order and served all day. Very tasty and eggs done just right. I would suggest to the cook, that the plates be heated as the food cooled off quickly. BONUS: When we were leaving, we were given two homemade muffins complete with napkins and small paper bag to go. We will return!

Reasonavle price for fairly large portion. One dish will easily portion four ways and 3 dishes total leaves leftovers.
Service was really friendly and the place was nice and clean. Both unusual for small town Chinese restaurants. Definitely worth a visit. Best chinese in the Osoyos area.

Had intentions of stopping at Hammer's House of Hog but it was closed (sadly). Wound up randomly choosing this place for lunch. Service was excellent - our server was very friendly and did a really good job but the food was disappointing. We had the special ribs of the day and they were just okay - nothing like the bbq down the road. It's not like they were inedible... just a very average meal, not much love put into it.

Panoramic views of the valley below; clean lines, and a comfortable atmosphere. Locally sourced ingredients prepared by an award-winning chef. All of this, in the heart of the south Okanagan – with a hint of Mediterranean on the palate. It’s where rustic meets elegant in delicious harmony.
Miradoro's location is incomparable. It is on a hillside looking out towards Osoyoos and the valley. Amazing.
It is a casual winery restaurant but don't be fooled by that concept. The service is five star plus. The proprietor formerly owned a fine dining restaurant in Vancouver. His experience and knowledge of customer service has carried over into Miradoro. He has trained the staff well.
The menu leans to more casual offerings like pizza and pasta, but there are more "fine dining" options. Even the seemingly casual offerings are a step above the norm.
Highly recommend it.

Still blushing from all its accolades in receiving the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2016, Terrafina Restaurant at Hester Creek Estate remains the top-rated restaurant for the Oliver area on TripAdvisor and has been awarded Okanagan Life's Reader's Choice Best Restaurants for 2016. Terrafina welcomes you in its nice and intimate patio or, if you wish indoor where the old brick and stone walls reveal the ancient origins of the building that hosts the main restaurant. Terrafina's team is happy and doing an amazing job in working together to present a first-rate dining experience. As the leaves change colour, you'll find lots of exciting events this fall. . Stay tuned, too, as the temperatures cool for heartier Italian specials such as Cheese Fondue, perhaps Raclettes, and game (venison) season. Until October 31, Terrafina remains open daily, 11:30 am to 9 pm. To preview the Tuscan and European influenced menus, make Reservations or learn about hosting intimate private functions, visit our website or call us. Enhance your group events and corporate occasions such as customer appreciation and/or Christmas parties by planning now to host them in our beautiful restaurant.
Our first visit to the restaurant and we enjoyed every bite. Great ambience and service. We visited on a Tuesday evening in mid October and the restaurant was quite busy, so I would recommend making Reservations.

Greek and Italian cuisine. outdoor patio.
I come through Oliver often and love Greek food, always wanted to try Savvios. I had roast lamb and my wife had the greek ribs. Huge portions and very reasonable prices. Both meals were excellent. Nice patio outside. They had great wine specials as well. A return visit for sure.

We stumbled on this place in the heat of the afternoon. Needing a coffee and a post office the two miraculously appeared on opposite sides of the road. The cafe was cool and even cooler was the decor! Once confronted with the range of gelato we coul not resist. The flavour range is great and taste wonderful. Clearly this venue also puts on Concerts as there is a stage on one side of the restaurant and there were posters advertising jazz Performances. Apparently the coffee was also excellent.

Southern Barbeque at its best!
This pork pulled BBQ is absolutely fantastic! It's great quality and friendly service. Big cities could learn a thing or two from this one-man-band! I will go back every time I visit the Okanagan Valley and go out of my to go there! Forget the expensive winery restaurants, just go here!
