The Redgarth has a well stocked bar with real ales available on tap, we had dinner and drinks there the othere evening and all really enjoyed the experience. There were 4 adults in our group but there were also a good mix of older couples and couples with young families dining there in the early evening. We could hear the rousing tones of Happy birthday coming from the dinning room so definitely a busy place on a Friday evening. The staff were all very welcoming and freindly, the waiting staff were all working very efficiently. The food was well presented and obviously
cooked freshly as it was piping hot when it came out to us. Would definitely visit again to eat and have also given some thought to having a B&B stay in the hotel.

Four of us went to the Valentine’s night. We enjoyed the cocktails to start with and also the smaller tasters. We were glad we were not rushed to our private room and stayed in the bar for a drink after we had our cocktails. Staff were attentive. Meal was very good, nice starters, good main course we all had the beef and it was cooked to how we each asked, dessert was good too. We did think it was overpriced for the evening quite a lot of money, package at £69.00 each and then a couple of rounds of drinks, to add to the Bill.
Later in the evenng there were two small children running up and down outside our room screaming at the top of their voices. They were with some guests in the opposite room, who had allowed them to run wild. Did not expect that at a Valentines Dinner.
One thing I did not like was the background music which seemed to be on a three minute loop with a solo piano player, began to grate on my nerves after a while. Luckily we found a button to turn it off. I would suggest to the Management a compilation of different music.
No complaints about the food, may try again soon and just pick from the menu, possible for lunch.

WELCOME! Welcome to The Spice @ Meldrum Arms Indian Restaurant. Situated in the Square of Oldmeldrum. The Spice @Meldrum Arms has combined the best of spices and herbs to bring effortlessly tasty and stylish food. The Spice has been created with a new modern spacious restaurant and bar area, providing contemporary and relaxed dining in a welcoming atmosphere.
We decided to have takeaway from here and were interested to assess the flavours in relation to other Indian restaurants.
The food looked ok on arrival and the prawn dishes looked inviting but was lacking in seasoning and spice, despite a request for dishes to be made to hotter.
Overall it didn't hit the spot on the night.

Also open Sunday Lunch.
Have visited Ardennan on quite a few occasions and the quality is always quite consistent. The fillet steaks are very nice but I am not a big fan of the brown chunky chips and think its time that these were changed for a decent chip, but everything else in nice with a good menu choice. Some of the seats will give you bum ache and these need to be changed or ask for a cushion. But overall a nice restaurant with nice food and nice staff. Give it a try!!

Have been to Spice of Life many times over the years. Very busy, especially over weekends, probably best to book a table in advance to save disappointment. There is an extensive menu of delicious Indian dishes. The Nan bread is soooooo good ! Service is friendly and efficient. Staff are very obliging with any special requests to menu. Takeaway service also availabe. Decoration and surroundings make for a lovely ambience. The food speaks for itself !

Housed within the West Church of Inverurie and is a community-focussed Enterprise of the Church of Scotland
I have twice been in Inverurie recently on a Monday, when this place is not open, so it was third time lucky on a Tuesday. I had been intending to go elsewhere, but my attention was grabbed by the day's specials board outside and I decided to try it. I was particularly pleased to see that they offered small portions, as I don't need a huge meal. I was greeted and shown to a table and my order was taken quickly. It is a very light and airy venue and felt nice to be in. I ordered spicy carrot and parsnip soup and broccoli and cauliflower bake with a glass of milk. For some reason both courses were brought to the table together, which was not what I expected (or wanted). The waitress did offer to take my main course away to keep it warm, but I said it would be alright. The soup was vegetarian and gluten free and very tasty, while the bake was particularly good. I would certainly have that again. My bill came to £9.40 which was very reasonable. The toilet was clean and well maintained. A good experience.

this is the restaurant inside an activity centre, but it is used by the public as a whole not just the patrons of the activity centre. It offers standard cafe food with some scottish dishes
I can't rate this place highly enough, we have visited many many times and most recently we were back again.
The staff are all extremely safety conscious and friendly, the activities are well run and maintained.
Better yet the cafe is still serving a wonderful selection of good food and beverages - not to be missed.
This time my family group were minus "Dad" so it was just my boys, but what a great time they had. Go-Crating, Segway, Archery, Rifles and Clay Pigeon Shooting ... Full on testosterone day !
The only sad face was "Dad" because he missed it. Truly a brilliant day out for all the family.
I know that we will be back.
