Had a large party for birthday dinner. Everyone loved their food. Pizza is phenomenal. Pasta was great too. They also have great salads. Neighborhood Gem. Tucked off HWY 70, easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for. Highly recommend this place for small or medium groups. Will not disappoint!!!!! Must go back sometime soon.

Sam's Sports Grill at Blue Turtle Bay offers the bests seats and the best eats for watching the game in a relaxed waterfront setting on Old Hickory Lake.
Have eaten plenty of times at chain in Murfreesboro one of our favorites! On the Old Hickory Lake found this one. A little confusion how to get there from car, no signs upfront until in the marina. Loved the option to eat outside on water front, bar, covered area and TV. Pizza was excellent as usual with great beer tap selection. Just little pricier, but cool place to eat on the lake.

The Lost Cajun Serves Authentic Cajun Food & Beignets in a Family Friendly Environment. We encourage you to bring your kids and pass a good time.
We are from out of state so I chose this place based on proximity and reviews. When we arrived and I saw it was in a strip mall, I was a little disappointed. I should not have been. This place was perfect. The atmosphere was just what one would expect. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. When our waitress found out we were not locals, she went above and beyond to give us advice on the area. It was all welcome. We will be back in this area for over a week in June and will be eating here again. Probably more than once

While the shopping center that Jumbo and Delicious is located in is not the most attractive building in Hendersonville, this is one of the older establishments in the city on Walton Ferry Road but has several neat eateries located in the set of buildings.
The inside is very clean and the service is very prompt and the burgers are 1/2 pound and 3/4 pound meat alone. When buns, condiments and veggies are loaded on the burger you will be well over 1 pound per burger. Their larger burgers will have the meat stuffed with your choice of cheese. The cheeses I know they have available are cheddar, White American, Yellow American, Munster, Provolone,. Pepper Jack, Bleu Cheese and others. I cannot again say enough about how large and tasty these burgers are. Then the fries and onion rings! The orders are large enough for more than one person. The fries are served crinkle cut, the onion rings are freshly battered daily and they serve some tasty sweet potato wedges as well.
They have other sandwiches like Reubens and stuffed grilled cheese sandwiches. Plus they several variety of amazing chicken wings!
We have dined in and had orders for take out and they have every item hot and fresh when you pick the food up from the window whether you will dine in or take it back to your home or office. Be sure to have plenty of napkins ready when you dive into these larger than life burgers. Also when you enter it is nice and refreshing to have Contemporary Christian Music Playing!

Finally after driving past Old Hickory Bistro many times I finally took time to check it out for breakfast recently. I was extremely pleased with my experience. My friend and I went on a weekday around 9:00 AM. It was about half full, but then again, it's tiny a place. Our server was very attentive and the restaurant was very clean. I ordered the egg, ham and cheese English muffin with home fries, the whole meal was delicious, I truly enjoyed it. The English muffin breakfast sandwich was a bit greasy, but nothing awful and like I said it was delicious. My only complaint was it seemed like the wait for the food was a tad long, nothing awful, as I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere and there was a very large party of about 10 people who ordered before us. There was only one server and she did a fantastic job taking care of all the diners. I definitely will be back to try some of their other dishes they offer.

We were looking for a dinner spot where we could have a nice meal while sitting and talking. Upon arrival, you could tell that this was more of an upscale restaurant typically used for romantic evenings. We had a party of 5 and were seated in a booth in the very corner of the restaurant. The lighting was horrible. Even those in our party that had great eye sight had to use the flashlight on the phone to read the menu. So you can imagine how horrible it was for the 80 year old woman that we had with us. To make matters worse, the ambiance in our area was loud so it was especially hard for her to hear our server. Initially, we had a young woman who I believe was new and in training because an older gentlemen occupanied her to the table a couple of times. However, neither one informed us who he was. Shortly after placing our order, we never saw the young woman again, he became our permanent server. We found him to be rude and abrasive. There were several incidents where we needed something at the table and no one came by to check on us so we had to flag down anyone we could find for assistance. I ordered the Ribeye Steak with Blue Cheese Butter, which was cooked perfectly and was flavorful. I also had a house salad and baked potato. The food I had was good but the rest of the experience here overshadowed the food. I have eaten at the Franklin, TN location of the Chop House and had a completely different experience. Based on this experience, I can get just as good of a meal (if not better) at another restaurant.

What a find! just a couple of miles from Old Hickory's homestead, a small Thai restaurant located in a non-descript bldg. may be one of the BEST Thai joints we have visited.......
Their steamed dumplings, excellent!
Thai fried rice w/chicken, excellent!
Cashew shrimp, excellent!
Sticky rice w/Mango, guess.......excellent!
The interior is clean, well maintained, and very serviceable; service was excellent, servers were fandamntastic! Overall: Outstanding!
The locals apparently really appreciate the place, since during our lunchtime meal well over a dozen to-go orders were picked-up.
If you find yourself close to The Hermitage, stop by Simply Thai for a great Thai meal!
Cost: $$

Our first eatery in Nashville and really set us up well. We were recommended to here by our tour manager on the basis that great traditional Nashville food, at reasonable prices, and presented without delay. Each of these factors were matched. We refused to allow the server to take our credit card away - he was surprised but, when we explained that this is the way we do it in the UK (bring the machines to us) and that it was nothing personal, he was happy. This was our first such experience and we subsequently found that this issue was common in the US.

My second visit. Started with edamame and the ceviche (served on Fridays, not on the menu). Delish! Great sushi. What made this visit totally memorable was our server James (again...Friday only). Guy knows his food and drink. We (ok I) could have talked to him about sushi, bourbon and BBQ for days; a real foodie like me. Don't ask him any questions until your order is put in with the chef. Dude can talk. Oh yeah...and get the yum yum sauce. I'll be back. Often.
