I believe this restaurant is now under new Management and I think their new name is T&T's from the sign....It is really good down home style cooking. Prices are reasonable and the food is very good. Service is friendly and the environment is a simple country style service. Family atmosphere, everyday place to stop in and eat at anytime. A place I would feel comfortable in even if I had just come in from the fields. I'm not a farmer but that is the type of comfort you get. Down to earth folks :)

The coffee shop is fantastic! So trendy it feels like you could be in an edgy, big city hipster coffee house. I had a toasted marshmallow mocha late, it was probably the best mocha I've ever had. Interior is nicely decorated and has some bits of local history. Worth a visit if you live nearby or traveling through on I-70.

Small town business doing things in a big way!! Locally owed BBQ restaurant. All foods prepared in house. We also do Catering as well as having a Food Truck.
The only better burnt ends I have had were from a certain place in Kansas [Joe's]. Vig's are so tender you think you are eating fat, but there is none. The smoked Turkey is shaved thin and piled high. Pulled chicken is an interesting addition, but I would stay with the ends, brisket [I assume also excellent] and the Turkey. Beans are extra smoky - like them a lot. Potato salad, cole slaw, super-cheesy corn all interesting unique - and good - sides. Owner is passionate about what he cooks - and he is damn good at it. Only downside is that he does not sell beer [yet].

The Odessa Creamery is a new location in town that serves a variety of unique ice cream flavors, such as Carrot cake, or Butterscotch. I strongly suggest sampling an assortment so you can get the perfect flavor for you. They have something for everyone. The hardest part is choosing! They have delicious home made waffle cones or you can get a dish. The decor is of a 50's era ice cream shop. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable of their product. Pricing is reasonable. You won't be disappointed! Kind of sad this place opened so close to me because I am going to weigh a lot more by the end of summer ;)

They have made every birthday cake for my daughter and they are awesome. I give them the theme and colors and they are great at designing beautiful cakes. The cakes taste great. Also have great cookie selection.

This is a down-home small town cafe that is open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. I stopped by for lunch on a trip across I-70, and was pleased with what I found. It is a couple of miles off the interstate and is well worth the drive.
For lunch I had a simple grilled ham and cheese sandwich that was exceptionally well prepared. The ham slices had been grilled individually before being incorporated into the sandwich, which itself was then prepared and grilled so the bread was buttery, toasty, and perfect and the cheese was melted just right. The accompanying standard restaurant supply fries were crispy and hot. Again, perfectly prepared. I saw a local diner tackling a pork tenderloin sandwich for which the breaded pork tenderloin was the size of a small dinner plate.
The atmosphere is simple. The restaurant is on the town's main street, just a block or so from the railroad tracks, and you can park in front on the street. There were lots of locals there during a weekday lunch hour. This is small town Missouri, where restaurants often still allow smoking. In a helpful touch, however, this one has separate rooms for smoking and nonsmoking.
If you like well-prepared comfort food in a small town cafe atmosphere, this is a good choice.

we have eaten at this Taco John's in the past and stopped here again because it's good. I enjoyed the walking taco, which is a summer special menu item. It's tasty and a good deal for the money. It's also popular with the locals, so if you arrive during the lunch rush, it's going to be busy.

I have been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. It is "Pizza Hut" and it is pretty standard as Pizza Huts go. Jennifer was my server and she did a terrific job filling up my water glass and taking care of the dirty plates on the table. I have always had the noon buffet and it is tasty and hot. The manager brings out a lot of pizza and has a variety of crusts and different toppings, but nothing weird! Will go back again.

Stayed in the area for a month and visited the store nearly every day for a soda, they have a sandwich bar with ready to go pizza, tried a slice and it was great, decided a whole pizza needed to be tested and it was great as well, and very reasonable price. Staff are friendly and best part is that they have the staff to server people, most of these places are lacking staff and you wait wait wait, but here they get you waited on right away, a pleasant surprise.

It is always a treat when someone gives a Lammert's cheesecake for gift!!! Creamy deliciousness! I have never heard of anyone that was disappointed in the least bit with their amazing cheesecake.
