We are a family friendly restaurant serving mostly Southwestern/Tex-Mex style cuisine. Please note that this is not authentic Mexican cuisine as there is a distinct difference between Mexican and Tex-Mex. Enjoy our bar and bar snacks from 4.30pm and restaurant meals from 5.30pm daily. The Mex is the perfect location for large groups with use of our private dining area close to the bar for groups of over 30. Fun times await you on Friday nights with Happy Hour from 5pm and live music in the bar from 6.30pm.
Margarita’s are weak, 30deg evening ... fan broken :( FYI don’t come when it’s hot ! shame, hate dishing local.

Came here on a busy Saturday morning, the view was gorgeous, the place was buzzing. Ricotta pancakes were beautiful, could not fault. My partners eggs on toast though was disappointing, should maybe add a breakfast meal on the menu that is larger for the average man. Venue was clean. Wait staff seemed friendly enough. Would certainly come back again if menu was changed slightly. The view alone is worth it.

The coffee and cake options were fairly standard. The brunch dishes looked nice - and the people eating them seemed to be fairly happy.
What lets this place down is the customer service. No one could give me a straight answer on whether to wait at the counter, or whether they did table service. Once i ordered (at the counter) it was slow to come out.

Open 7 days a week from 6:30am till late. Breakfast, lunch and dinner or if your after coffee/cake, this is the spot. Fantastic function venue. With spectacular views overlooking the gorgeous coastline from point Lonsdale to the bluff at Barwon Heads, The Dunes is situated on the main beach of Ocean Grove
Gave the dunes two goes. One was inside, the place is generally packed as you really have no alternative. Menu was expensive, but we waited 10 minutes and no one came near our table! Staff were available but some were just busy talking to others( staff and obviously friends). So we left! The other time was when I went to get takeaway coffees and some hot chips. You had to order the coffee inside, then go outside to order the chips. Both took over 10minutes . They wouldn’t let you order chips inside with the coffees....why! I got the chips then came inside to get the coffee. The coffees were in cups and when they realized there mistake they simply poured them into the takeaway cups! This place survives because you have no other alternative, Ocean Grove main shops and cafes are far superior!

Under the gums across from the Ocean Grove park. Serving modern cuisine, good wine and coffee in a relaxed atmosphere.
Located a short distance north of the main café/shopping strip of Ocean Grove, Napona is a bright rans spacious establishment with a wide deck area. It’s corner position provides views across the bushland park. Napona offers Breakfast Lunch and dinner fare (Dinners Tues to Saturday) and is fully licensed. We sampled the breakfast options which started at $12 for eggs & bacon on toast through to $22 for the mega breakfast. A good range of options with vegetarian options available. The BBQ mushrooms with capsicum and slow cooked egg was a standout. Coffee was excellent. A nice bright spot for a brunch.

Positioned on the stunning Bellarine Peninsular, across the bridge from iconic Barwon Heads, and within a 10 minute drive from Leopold, Drysdale and Point Lonsdale, Zebra Bar & Bistro is an excellent choice if you are looking for a place to eat out for lunch or dinner, sip cocktails, chat with friends over a coffee, glass of wine, or pot of craft beer, or host a birthday party, engagement, wedding or work function.
Visited here a couple of months ago, food was fantastic. The steak was cooked to perfection. Second visit was totally different. Took over an hour for our meal, when we asked how long the meal would be, the staff member got quite upset. Didn't even ask who had what and got our steaks mixed up. My steak was terrible and the sauce was very fatty. Disappointed...as we were so excited to go back.

This place is always a favourite with us and our family and friends.
The food is fast and always delicious. It gets very busy over the tourist season but they seem to cope.
The view of the water and sunsets from the large wrap around windows is stunning. So get a window seat if you can.
The restaurant decor is your typical local Chinese restaurant but it is clean and functional. It is quite large and holds a lot of people and they tend to have two or three Seating times over the busy period. You need to book most weekends and over summer.
The takeaway is also the best in town and fast pickup or Delivery
It’s BYO wine but is also licensed

Best described as a delicatessen (place to buy cooked meats, cheese, etc) plus cafe.
Visited because it's supposed to be Cadel Evan's favourite spot for coffee. We didn't expect to see him (and we didn't), but the coffee didn't disappoint.
The Seating is very cramped - ok for coffee, but I wouldn't like to eat here even though the food looked very good.

We are a cafe that serves great coffee and fantastic all day breakfasts and lunches. We use fresh, local produce - organic where possible. We are open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights only.
