My passion for smoking meats developed years ago when I first witnessed our uncle Leon (aka "Big Lee"), and his incredible skills on the smoker in the Mississippi Delta, Greenwood to be exact. The quality of the food he made was unparalleled and I couldn't get it out of my mind. But beyond his sheer talent, Uncle Leon had such a joy for cooking and, moreover, for sharing his amazing food with others. We lost Uncle Leon in October of 2012 and his passing has made me more conscious of not only my deep passion for barbecue, but also how many people I share this gift with. He was an amazing man and he still inspires us today. Thanks, "Big Lee"!
Tried Big Lee’s today and everything was so delicious! I tried the “Kathy” which is his Mac & Cheese with shredded brisket and baked Gouda, the baked beans, and the baked potato salad....everything was so good. My fiancé had the ribs and they literally fell off the bone! Both teas were refreshing! Will be back!

Latinos y Mas is a Latin Fusion Restaurant. We serve authentic dishes from Cuba, Mexico and South America. Come and experience Latin Food at it's best
I am always looking for good Spanish and Mexican food here in Florida. Most of the restaurants that offer what they call Spanish or Mexican food actually offer Cuban style meals based on Spanish or Mexican themes. Not here!
GREAT Paeilla for sure. I love my Paeilla and Zarzuela. The offerings here are absolutely first rate. Others in our parties enjoyed the chicken and pork offerings as well. No one was disappointed in the size or taste of their meals.
Pricing seemed fair for the quality and service.
I would suggest you come early here. Once you hit 7:30pm folks are lined up like an amusement park. We always get there between 6 and 6:30 to get a good table.

We had just a few hours in Ocala and found the perfect spot for lunch. We each had one of their great salads, a glass of wine and a sweet treat. The place is adorable. We found some of our favorite champagne to bring back home with us. Not only do they sell wine and beer to go they also have a whole store full of the cutest items. Great hostess gifts and kitchen items. This place should definitely be on your list next time you are in the area.

Looking for a romantic escape, a quiet spot for a business lunch or dinner, a cozy place for a friend or family reunion? Or simply craving hearty, quality food and dedicated service? Located at the heart of beautiful downtown Ocala, La Cuisine with its unique French bistro atmosphere, award-winning menu alongside world-class food, full liquor bar and extensive selection of wines, is worth a closer look! Our specialties include Escargots in Garlic Butter, Traditional French Onion Soup, Beef Bourguignon, Braised Pork Shank in Honey Sauce, Duck a l' Orange, Free Range Chicken, Ratatouille and our genuinely authentic Creme Brulee, to mention just a few!
Four of us had dinner at LaCuisine. Very nice wine list. The fish du jour, striped bass, was excellent. Our friends raved about their lamb chops. Perfect portions so we had room for delicious dessert. The owner introduced himself and asked how our meal was. It’s a 50 minute drive for us but we will eat there again.

Ordered two different plates from the combination platter menu. Very good quality, taste and price. Large portions. The atmosphere was ethnic with lots of things to buy in an attached little shop. The decor was impeccably hand-carved wood. It's probably one of the best mexican restaurants we have eaten at in Ocala and we'll definitely go back.

Started with hostess opening door and greeted, being seated almost immediately. Coming on Saturday afternoon. Trevor our waiter was attentive, knowing the menu very well. He recommended the entire menu but he narrowed down dishes to my taste for this was my first visit. I decided on Short Ribs with Linguini in a cremini mushroom sauce topped off with hreen onions, also ordered quiche of the day, brie bacon spinach and red onion. OMG, both of these dishes had so much flavor that just danced in your mouth. Very flavorful. Definitely 5 stars!

Thank you for visiting Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille! A distinctively different menu, the food of Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille captures the essence of a city not only known worldwide as the birthplace of Jazz but also the birthplace of a unique style of cooking. We've taken the best of Cajun, Creole and Southern flavors infused with a current day twist to create some of our most popular dishes like Shrimp and Scallop Orleans, Grilled Chicken Baton Rouge, Crab Crusted Blackened Red Fish, Bourbon Street Salmon and French Quarter Beef Tenderloin to name a few.
Went here to dine with friends. We had to wait for around 10 minutes. Seems that this place is popular. Ordered fried green tomatoes, crab appetizer, calamari, baked shrimp, rice jambalaya, two more fish dishes and some drinks. Food was good but not outstanding. Prices were reasonable and service was quick.

Blue Highway is a a casual, family-friendly neighborhood restaurant specializing in traditional Neapolitan style pizza and calazones. Small plates, salads, paninis, sandwiches, pastas and desserts are served. A good selection of local craft beer and wine is also available. We take great pride in our culinary culture; serving the highest quality fresh, local, organic (when possible), and expertly prepared food, served with love.
Blue Highway is a very special place. A very eclectic selection on the menu. Very fresh ingredients and a perfect palate of flavors. I had The Highway panini with salad. It was perfectly prepared. Service was friendly and responsive. A great place to relax and enjoy your meal.
