It is just fine. Nice food, clean, but expensive and stuff that working there spoiling everything! It is like an old soviet times. She looks at you like what [--] you want from me?! Take your food and back off! And appetite disappearing immediately. Not advisable for sensitive European people.

Bare brick walls large Cristal chandeliers ,white table clothes and only 7 tables. Great look specially with fish swimming in glasses rather than flowers
The chef worked at the Croccadile Stassbourg, and it shows, the menu is limited but good beautifully presented and cooked ,service a little hit and miss. Warm white wine in this quality of restaurant should not happen
Enjoyed a pork dish created for Chirac
Also they have a heated Terrace outside where you can smoke and have a night cap
All in all a good evening

I've found this place at tripadvisor, wanting to eat traditional Rostov dishes on the left side of Don. It wasn't that easy to find this place cause houses on Levoberezhnaya street sometimes are situated in the random order. Service was great. I've ordered crayfish (portion-minimum 10 pieces) and carp-so delicious! The portion of fried potatoes was huge-I even had to take the part of it to go. Kvass and Poppy cake were ok (nothing special for me). Free wifi worked fast. The only thing that upset me-the prices are too high.

Want to escape the busy city life for a while? Welcome to "Tamada" restaurant! Once you cross our doorstep, you will find yourself in a different world. There are five cosy halls on two floors of the restaurant. The interior is made in ethnic style - it is, without a doubt, one of the greatest things about "Tamada". As is its diverse menu, where authentic Caucasian dishes play the main role. Meat, greens, fragrant spices, homemade cheeses, hot sauces, bread from own bakery, fine wines in "Tamada" - everything here turns even an ordinary dinner into a celebration. You can dine in one of the garden-houses, twined by wild grapes, at a summer Terrace during the warm season. "Tamada" is the ideal place for banquets, business meetings, corporate holidays, romantic dates, family get-togethers, relaxing dinners and tourists in search of authentic Caucasian cuisine. We offer: Kids menu, Lenten menu, Takeaway, Delivery We play background music and have live musicians daily after 7 p.m.
Wonderfull place. Naturally our host knew the place so the menu was not needed.
Excellent shaslik, cheese plates, diffent kind of breads just baked.
Salads and like. Cousy looking place and very nice interior.
If somebody is missing nice original food as come here.
Many restaurants are stating that they have Georgian, or Kaukasus kitchen.
This is not only stating, that's all what is it about. Genuine food at nice place with good service. One cant get much more!!!

I found this place when i go for shopping to Horizon Mall. I tried "margarita pizza" which is my favourite. It was the one of the best i tried, i get the same taste with pizzas in Napoli.

4 Coffeehouse, Own Coffee Roasting
Well if it so happens that you will find yourself in Rostov make sure you will stop by at CoffeeMan. I have spent a month in Rostov (June this year) and became a regular at their Pushkinskaya location. I have also become friends both with the staff and the owners (if you interested to have a passionate coffee conversation do look for Ira - the owner or Artem one of the baristas - he really knows how to make a delicious coffee drink). These guys roast their coffee as well and you get to see it right there in the coffee shop as the roaster has it place right at the counter. Beside the great variety of coffee beens and coffee drinks (and yes they do cater to the more advanced needs of coffee drinkers too) this place does not come short on the food part either. I have tried few restaurants in Rostov but I was most satisfied here. Their eggplant / beef dish got me every time. Great soups and salads. To top it all up this place really offers a nice ambience and so you will end up feeling like wanting to come back. I certainly was one of many regulars there. For those coming from abroad - the staff seem shy sometimes yet they really are happy to engage in an English conversation so give them a chance.
