Our menu is mainly composed of authentic dishes sailors, every day fresh fish gender of our three fishing boats we work for years comes directly fish of the sea of the Bay of Cadiz to the table to enjoy the authentic taste of sea.
We came here on the recommendation of the staff at the Balneario de Chiclana, Fuente Amarga. What a great find. The food was delicious, from the tuna tapas to The langostinos, to the main course- a delicious plate of tender, fresh caught grilled tuna with vegetables and roasted potatoes. The grilled tuna was cooked just perfectly and very flavorful. We will be sure to return
I'd have given it an excellent rating, but the service was unusually slow, even by Spanish standards. But then again it was a Saturday afternoon in late May and the place was overflowing.

This restaurant was a great find - all the staff were fabulous: the waitress who explained everything in English, the owner who gave us complimentary glasses of his brother's Muscat, and the chef who brought us our meals plated beautifully and very delicious! A really lovely restaurant all round :)

I think that there is general problem with Italian food in Spain. They dont understand cuisine. Italian food is very simple but requires to be fresh. If You add simple incredients and basic herbs You receive excellent tastes. In La Cobija food is just avarage not good but also not so bad. It is just eatable.

We had high hopes for this place....I'm confused how this is number 1?? The food we had was average and certainly did not taste like homemade pasta. Should you really be hearing a microwave ping?!Not really for families either....no children's menu and they would not serve a half portion of pasta for the children. It was very expensive €15 for about 8 small pieces of ravioli. The service was very abrupt and we gave up trying to catch a waiter to ask for black pepper...they were all too busy chatting out the front of the restaurant. We holiday in Spain once a month and certainly won't be returning here.

Excellent food, small portions but delicious, excellent cook, a team of charming ladies smiles you thru the meal, on Sunday live music, do not know after 1 november whether still open, in the season can be busy, parking right at the restaurant, the house wine also quite good. Speak both Spanish and English, well trained staff.. professional. Not for a discount dish, you dine casual on the beach, interior and Terrace simple beach style and for beach goers. Mixed crowd both locals and a lot international, casual.
