This restaurant is at a stunning resort and was worth the cool monkey trail hike to get here but all in all food didn't seem that special. From Reading reviews I thought it would be spectacular it's a bit expensive for what it is. Restaurant is inside so good if you want out of the heat.
Ultimately I would recommend coming to this resort to have a drink and check out the beautiful location. There are other restaurants on premises that may be better...not sure.

Carnivore serves since 2003 mouthwatering steaks; Rib Eye, Tenderloin, Lamb, Pork and chicken. All our beef is imported vacuum fresh from Australia and New Zealand. Also do we serve several fish plates; prawns, white snapper, tuna and more. Our generous salads and wide range of starters are highly appreciated with our guests. All main courses are served with a delicious salad, and you can choose between 13 side dishes and 5 meat-sauces. Since 2004 we provide our guests with a selection of 50 different beers from all over the world and also more then 40 different wines. Since 2014 do we also have a selection of about 30 different whiskeys; many of them single malts.
This is not our usual type restaurant when in Thailand - but we were feeling desperate for MEAT. Not being steak eaters, we had looked around for spare ribs in the thai food restaurants and couldn't find them. I looked on Tripadvisor and found this restaurant - and was VERY IMPRESSED and returned twice.
A lovely setting. We ordered the ribs to share to check on the size - I'm glad we did - the service was very large and they were delicious. On arrival you receive a piece of olive bread, olives and a couple of dips, you also receive a lovely side salad and you get to choose a type of potatoes of your choice. We tried the french fries and Homemade french fries.
The menu may look expensive but the ribs cost around 450 bhat so this meal cost us less than our usual Thai meal and for the quality we thought it was excellent value.
Large variety of beers available but the usual chang was 160 bhat.

Diver's Inn opened its doors as the first German Restaurant in Ao Nang, Krabi,in August 2000. Just a small place with 10 tables and 4 staff, the restaurant earned a reputation for quality Steaks, Thai and German Food at reasonable prices. In May 2006 we moved into a new building just a few steps away from McDonalds, directly opposite the Siam Commercial Bank. Customers can enjoy tasty and juicy steaks (Chilled vacuumed Australian Black Angus) as well as delicious Thai and European food, using only the finest and freshest ingredients that our restaurant has to offer. If you love meat other than beef you have a choice of duck, pork and chicken and for the non-meat eaters there are seafood and vegetarian options. All European meat dishes come with a salad buffet or a big side salad, potato side dish and sauces to choose from. We do gluten free food, just need to know if you as a customer are in need of it. Please note, we do not make Reservations for tables at any time.
Very good food. The drinks came right away and the food was served right after. The owner came to the table and asked if everything was okay. Service from the staff was also very good.Hello Bjoern Thank you very much for your nice comment. Was a pleasure to to serve all of you. Have a great time . Best regards Jeab, Jürgen and Diver´s Inn Team

The restaurant is located 15 minutes from Ao Nang center in a small village named Din Daeng Noi. It is one of the most unique restaurant/ bar and bungalow operations in the South of Thailand. The chef is superb and the tropical ambience is amazing. It is a hidden gem.
We read the great reviews and decided it was worth the trek. Walking into the place, it looked really nice with tables spread around the pools/garden, each with their own covering. The menu looked good, with plenty of the usual Thai fare, plus a few special items from the house. So far so good, except the staff were seemingly having dinner and a karaoke singalong in the room next to the bar, rather than pay attention to the one and only table that's occupied in the restaurant. So it took 20 minutes before anyone appeared to take our order, and it felt rather like we were intruding on a private party.
We opted for the fried catfish with green mango salad and chicken satay to start, followed by prawn green curry, beef mussaman curry and the crab in yellow powder, along with some steamed rice.
The staff karaoke continued.
The catfish was nicely presented, a thinly sliced green mango canopy over the fish. Removing the mango, we saw a brown, fried "bird's nest", for want of a better description. The strands of the "nest" were quite fine which made me wonder what we were eating as there were no fish pieces. The "nest" didn't taste of much, the mangoes added the flavour. The chicken skewers were lacking in any seasoning and the peanut sauce was lacking the usual rich nutty flavour too, meaning the satay dish was very bland.
The staff karaoke continued.
The mains showed up around two minutes after the starters arrived. The mussaman curry had a nicely flavoured sauce but the beef was very tough. The crab in yellow powder had a nice flavour but it was mushy, which wasn't that appetising. The green curry was the biggest disappointment - a very thick green sauce that didn't taste anything close to any green curry I've ever eaten and was entirely devoid of any "kick" which, for a dish that's meant to be really spicy, was a big miss.
The staff karaoke continued.
Fortunately someone came over to bring some watermelon (nice touch) as we were finishing eating so we could ask for the bill and leave.
As I said, this experience was a shame because the property looked really nice. The drive to F&C simply isn't worth it (note we trekked out to Ruenmai Krabi the night before and had an amazing meal so if you want to go out of town to a nice restaurant, go there).

Located tucked away just behind the Krabi La Playa Resort we were delighted with our first meal of our holiday. The green mango salad was perfect and the green curry was delicious. Service was so friendly and we were given complimentary banana cream dessert. Will be back in next day or so!

We are not a Thailand specialist and don’t really know Thai food, but if their food reflects on the Thai food then it’s the best food in the world, the fish so tender and perfectly done, amazing sprig rolls , everything we touched was just perfect!!!
Highly recommended

Read the reviews and went with high hopes. We were not dissapointed. Tender meat, tasty sauces and spiced to your liking.
Dishes cooked to order so the complimentary popadoms and chutneys keep you going till your food arrives.
Did not expect to be wowed with Indian food in Thailand but they hit the spot.

Sandwich Me serves authentic Thai street food. It is now conveniently located in Klong Muang Plaza close to Le Cafe Thai restaurant and Cocktail Bar. It is also within a walking distance to Dusit Thani hotel. Here at Sandwich Me, Ollie, the cook uses only good and fresh quality ingredients. You can really taste the freshness while eating your home cooked meal. You can also see and watch Ollie while he is cooking in his open kitchen.
The name is odd for a Thai restaurant but the food is amazing. Cold beer and good cocktails help pass the time while you wait for your freshly prepared food.
Enjoyed every thing we had on our 3 visits here.
It is a fairly small restaurant so you can have a wait to get a table at busy times but definately worth it.
