If you want to experience a local hang out that serves excellent seafood Cocina La Ley is the place. The place is very well hidden, very simple, nestled next to a garage. The food is very fresh and excellent. The menu is basic with Tacos, Soups, Broth, Ceviche and Shrimp cocktails. I had the Fish and Shrimp soup and my wife had the Shrimp soup. Both soups were excellent. The service was very efficient and friendly. We knew the place was good as most of the patrons were locals on their lunch break! Cash and Credit cards are accepted. If you like seafood, I would highly recommend Cocina La Ley.

I go here almost daily and I love interacting with the friendly staff. They always get my order right and are aware of some food allergies I have so they always make sure the order is right for me if I cHange up my usual.
They need wifi, though!

A different twist from your ordinary frozen desserts. Adding sweetened condensed milk or chili sauce/chamoy and salted dried prunes, or top it off with soft serve ice cream, it's all open to your imagination!
Every since I was a kid this place has always stayed in business, the shaved ice from Finitos doesn't compare to any I have ever tried. There is a reason why this place has made a foothold in Nogales AZ. You will very rarely have a chance to meet someone from Nogales that won't know of Finitos, they have much more delicious treats to choose from like Mexican candies, chilly with some chips or cheese. But what always brings me back is there shaved ice so many flavors to choose from, I personally like there lemon and cherry. But there is certain to be a flavor for anyone's palate to enjoy. If you're in Nogales on a hot summer day I highly recommend you come try Finitos you won't be disappointed and you will leave with a smile on your face.

The restaurants on the Mexican side were all closed on Monday with the holiday-after the dentist so we decided to try the US side. After reading the reviews, we had to go with the bacon wrapped shrimp, which were excellent and plentifu. The fries were precut frozen. The salad was chopped iceberg and was probably left from lunch. They didn't have rice as they ran out at lunch. They did bring an excellent sliced avocado in place. Service was good. Very clean. We looked at some of the fish dishes being served and decided that's what we'll get next time.

in a city with limited healthy food options City Salad is a nice addition. Good/Quick Service and lots of options. I have tried the large salad, but would recommend small or medium since Large is enough for two people

Just back in Nogales Arizona from our Caborca trip. Our trip hosts knew where to take us for lunch. The restaurant is not special but the location is convenient and the prices are reasonable.
I had the chilli special which came with a salad and the always present refried beans. The chili was a bit thin but was tasty after I gave it a shot of hot sauce.
I wouldn’t call eating here ‘dining’, more like refuelling but I would stop again.

The place has nice ambiance. We had the spices ricotta for an app. It was very good. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs. He loved them. The service was great. I had a lobster tail, grilled veggies and Parmesan mashed potatoes. My lobster was tough and tasteless. Like it had freezer burn. Serves me right for ordering seafood in an Italian restuarant. The salad and bread were very good also. I would give it another try but not the lobster.

After a strong recommendation for this family run restaurant, I was a bit disappointed. My first dish of enchiladas was inedible, I couldn't cut through the enchilada! The replacement dish was sub-par. I've had better Mexican food in New Hampshire.
Be forwarned, they have no liquor license and had no Guacamole while I was there.
I will not be going back.

We visit Los Jardines fairly often for the friendly service, simple cooking, and clean ambiance. Seating can be tight but they a lunch counter & can do take a way containers.
Try the horchata, cinnamon infused rice flour based beverage over ice- very refreshing. The rice & beans are my favorite but many Mexican items to try, including an Ample supply of giacamole for a great price value. Lunch for 2 under $20.00.
