I just have to say that ll of the reviews does not give this restaurant then recognition it deserves. We had the pleasure of talking to the restaurants owner who told us his story. It was incredibly inspiring and showed through within each and every one of his workers. The food was amazing and we were fortunate to not have to wait too long (no reservations). A quick tip, see if there are any seats at the front counter and say hello to Keith, you will not be disappointed.

You cannot beat the setting. It is one of the prettiest places on earth. You can either hike a bit down to Beachcomber or take the shuttle bus for 1.50 each way from the state park parking lot. Restaurant will validate your parking ticket for 3 hours, so don’t forget to take it with you. Reservations fill up quickly but they do take walk ins, just be prepared to wait a while if the weather is nice. We anticipated a wait, took beach chairs and put our name on the list about 1.5 hours before we wanted to eat and sat in our chairs on the beach and enjoyed the spectacular scenery before lunch. The ahi sandwich was yummy, as were the fries, but we both expected more from the fish and chips. A great place to make memories and return to year after year.

The steak was done perfectly and the shrimp was flavorful and done to perfection. There sheikh off very of the menu was flavorful as well. The broccoli was al dente I think it could of been cooked a little long. The apple crisp was very good.

Walking along the waterfront we found this wonderful restaurant with delicious new england clam chowder and oysters to start. Followed by a delicious and ample fish stew that came with great bread to "Sop" up all of the delicious juices! Great spot and friendly staff added to the great experience!

Ruby's Shake Shack is located on PCH, just east of Newport Coast Drive and part of the Crystal Cove beach community. There is ample seating. They offer a good menu, however the breakfast menu stops at 11am (I found out the hard way). Service is very good. Pricing is mid-range so you can get a quality burger, fries and a shake at a decent price. The key point I would like to offer is the shakes are more of a frosty. In other words it is stiff and not the liquid type you might be use to.

Bear Flag Fish Company was founded in 2007. Bear Flag Fish Company specializes in the freshest seafood in town. The creation of the company started with the love of the ocean and most of all the love and the knowledge of fresh seafood.
I really enjoy the burritos! You can get them with panko breaded fish, fish of the day or veggie. The weekend line is long...goes out the door. There’s limited indoor seating but plenty of tables on the sidewalk right outside. It’s an $11 burrito but hits the spot when you’ve got the craving!

Il Farro Restaurant, located in the heart of Newport Beach, serves authentic Italian dishes with a focus on taste and quality. Enjoy our homemade desserts to finish your meal.
The service is friendly and attentive. You feel like they are really happy you have chosen to eat here.
They have a small outdoor patio in front and a very nice dining experience inside. White table cloths and cloth napkins. The food is classic Italian and very good. They offer a good selection of wine.
It is located in the pier area so you know the parking is bad but there is a pay lot a short walk away on Newport Blvd that may be better than the pier parking.
It’s a nice place for couples dining. Spaghetti Factory across the street is better with small children.

The name of this restaurant is perfect, because they serve great Mexican food at a great price.
The place is full of locals and there’s limited seating, but it’s definitely worth the effort.
They have specials including Taco Tuesday and Friday, as well as combo and a la carte dishes. We had chicken enchiladas, cheese enchiladas, chicken tacos, nachos and even the kids meal corn dog with fries. All of the dishes were excellent.
They also have a nice salsa bar.
You walk in and order, find a table and they bring it to you. Service was great.

We enjoyed a private room with a group for what can only be called The Best Meal of My Life! Everything from the seafood tower to the butter cake was out of this world. Even the side dishes were spectacular. I will be dreaming about the lobster Mac and cheese for the rest of my life. Service was excellent as well. Thank you for a fabulous OC experience!

The food is good (not great), atmosphere is comfortable, prices on the high side, but the service is outstanding. Whoever trains their servers deserves recognition. The challenge with this place is finding a place to park. Your best bet is way up at the north end, up by Whole Foods.
