Another delicious meal from this great great restaurant. Brought family there who were here from England. They could not get over the kindness and generosity of this great place from the complimentary dishes to the attention we received to see was everything to our liking. All the different spices was just what the doctor ordered. We most definitely will be back sooner rather than later.A must go to place for great food value and ambiance. Thanks Adi and James.

What a treasure. We were 3, my husband, brother in law and myself. We were seated promptly and so it began. Our servers smiled and fussed over us from the very start. Nothing was too much trouble. We settled on Veg Spring Rolls and Wontons for starters which were both generous and delicious. Mains were Cod with ginger, Ribeye and Prawn tagliatelle. Again superb. Now being a little greedy we decided to have desserts. Sticky toffee pudding and Banoffee. Oh my goodness melt in the mouth. A gorgeous sauvignon blanc with the meal was followed by a pint of bud, a gin and tonic and a request for a Hendricks g & t prepared in a particular fashion. Again no problem. Delighted to find this little gem. Well done all a big congratulations. Needless to say we will be back.

Ate here last Friday night with a bunch of friends. We shared starters and everyone got the burgers. They were cooked just perfect as were the fries. Really relaxed atmosphere with good music on in he background. Only drawback was how loud the music got eventually. Still I’d go again and recommend

My girlfriend and I ate here recently. Each course was extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. I had chicken wings to start and fillet steak as main. My partner had Caesar salad and fillet steak. Steaks were huge and cooked the way we asked. You would be surprised how many restaurants can't get that right. Deserts was nice too we both had Eton mess. It could've done with another scoop of ice cream but just being picky.
Only one downside to the night is the staff don't seem to understand the pricing of their own menu. Menu states 2 courses for €20 and 3 for €25. Some items have a supplement. Fillet steak for example said €5 which is fair. So 3 courses each both with steak should be €30 each. Somehow the waitress came up with €34 each and tried to explain it but made no sense at all. We didn't want to make a scene as restaurant was busy but would have liked to have explained to the waitress how she was wrong. However we paid and left having enjoyed the meal. Very annoying finish to the night though.

Myself and my better half were browsing for Christmas presents when we came across this lovely restaurant in a shopping mall in Newbridge. The eating venue is 34 years alive and going strong. I ordered my usual eggs sunny side up with Soldiers of nicely toasted bread and vast quantities of Kerry gold. Add two crispy Rashers and I'm in heaven. Our meal arrived and the waitress and Co owner asked if my eggs were cooked the way I liked them and I nodded with mouth jammed full accordingly. Jody and Dee the Co-Owners run a smooth ship here and the food is Delish as my younger daughter would say. Amanda and Elaine are front of house and are charming and make the customers feel at home. We tasted one of their Deserts made on the premises and it was Scrumtous. This is a Hokey Pokey that's neither a Hoky or is Poky and customers don't turn away and walk out. Lovely food lovely staff lovely price, what more is there. Yum yum. 5*

The Salamander Coffee House is housed within the Newbridge Sports and Leisure Centre. We offer a simple, tasty menu of "made to order" sandwiches and salads, brunch and lunch. We were the first specialty coffee house in Newbridge serving the amazing McCabe's Coffee - hand roasted in Wicklow. We have built our business on great customer service, a friendly atmosphere and simple tasty food.
