We stopped in Newark to do a little exploring on our way back to Macedon to turn in our houseboat. We passed Parker's Grille and decided to give it a try for dinner. We were greeted upon walking in and told we could sit wherever we wanted. So we found a table and a server came around quickly with menus. There are a lot of options on the menu. Anyone could find something to eat here. I ordered the lake perch basket and my husband ordered a blt. Our dinners came out hot and tasty. My husband actually ended up with the souped up kong blt. Food was good, service was good, Place looked clean. As we sat there people kept streaming in. Good experience.

This is a typical duncan donut place, and yes, its very busy. The drive up moves quickly. It has bagel/egg sandwiches and donuts and muffins. Lots of good flavored coffees. The soda is given in bottles, so I always ask for a cup of ice/lid/straw for my drive.

Huge portions! Has a drive thru window. Plenty of seating inside and out. The kids will love the fish inside. Lots of flavors and really great soft served options. I suggest the softserved coconut in a waffle cone!

Tim Horton's being a chain, all things taste the same. Which I like. I like my coffee and want it to taste as I am used to when I go. They have pastry's to go with of course and a small selections of sandwiches. I have had the egg white breakfast sandwich but none of the others. Store is clean and neat, service depends on how busy but I have never had to wait at this location.

Our family usually eats here on an average once a month, this is the only decent sit down non fast food restaurant in town! Food is always good, atmosphere is good, wait staff professional! I think prices reflect what you get!

This restaurant is one of Newark's best kept secrets,
Nana's does have limited hours but whenever I have been in there it isn't crowed and you can gt excellent service, The food I have eaten I have enjoyed just lunch so I have only had their sandwiches. Plenty of parking might be hard to get in with a wheelchair.

Been going here for over five years with some regularity, and typically during Saturday breakfast. The servers have always been pleasant. I rarely need to actually place an order for myself and my kiddies because of the routine. I see no reason to stop going there. We always leave on full stomachs without going broke.

I prefer Great Wall (NOT the buffet) but I ordered from Ling Ling recently and I will say that it wasn't horrible. The food was hot and tasted pretty good. It's hard to find a good Chinese resturant and this one is most definitely good!

Landing on the Newark Canal and listening to a village concert got us in the mood so we walked across the river and landed at Pontillo's. Ordered up a medium 'roni and black olive, and sipped our Orange Crush while we waited. Pie came out hot, with abundant toppings. I would prefer more sauce, but the crust was good - not spectacular but a good chew to it. Price was the biggest problem - $13 for a 12 inch two topping is a bit steep. Not a large menu as we were hoping for calzones but settled for the pie. Definitiely worth stopping for the flavor - if you've got the cash. Located above the Canal docks, go out back and enjoy the waterfront view!

I grew up in Newark and seen the many reincarnations of The Corner. I am now back in Newark and once a year I go and each time reminded why I am not a regular. I have eaten both in dining area and bar . Service is either very slow or your appetizer, salads and meal arrive within minutes of each other. Last time there I waited longer for a beer at the bar than I did for my food. Will say beer was cold, services in a refrigerated glass and fresh. Meal of pasta was okay but for a place known for pasta/Italian meals, seems like at least fresh parmesan would be offered/an option.
