It's a gelato place. The best I have had here in the US.
On restaurant row you will find this outstanding gelato parlor. Lots of flavors to try. Tables are available if you would like to sit or take your gelato for a walk around beautiful New Canaan!

Whether you unwind with a glass of Pinot Grigio at the bar that encircles the exposed kitchen, or linger at a table for two beneath a striking arbor inspired by an Italian vineyard, you’ll be swept away by Solé. This sophisticated trattoria, located on Elm Street in the picturesque New England town of New Canaan, Connecticut, serves handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and succulent entrees in a relaxed, yet utterly cosmopolitan setting.
Despite our lack of reservation for a Friday evening, we were greeted very warmly and promptly seated. Make no mistake - this is a nice restaurant with top-drawer dining. The layout made the place seem a little cramped and loud, but not unpleasantly so. The wait staff was extraordinarily efficient and helpful. I ordered the Rustichella Rigatoni Bolognese, which was outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The tea isn't much, but the coffee is great: massive choice, all roasted on premises. It's hip without being hipster. Munchies consist of muffins, which are very good, but that is it. This is very much a coffee place. Try to get there when the yoga classes get out.

Chings Table is our go to Asian restaurant... despite the 45 minute drive. We have never been disappointed with the quality of their food, ever! It is absolutely not over priced regardless of some of the reviews I've read. I just don't get where they are coming from! It is not your average Chinese restaurant. It's way more that that. It's a gourmet fusion of Chinese, Japanese and Thai, and it just doesn't get better than that for the price. We have not found anything that even comes close to the quality of their food! I love the house salad with the peanut dressing, the crispy red snapper and the shrimp and scallop Samba Sambal...or something like that. My husband loves the crispy duck and claims it is the best around. The staff are soo wonderful and personable. We love them. Yum, now I'm hungry!!! PS...the photo for the profile does not reflect how brilliant their food is!

The New Canaan Bskin-Robbins inside is like others in the chain, with prompt service and the usual flavors and products. What makes a little different is the bench outside on the wide sidewalk, on one of the two main shopping streets in New
Canaan's village. It is open long hours, so families and people of all ages can drop in in the early evening for a scoop or a sundae.

Farmer's Table has an excellent menu, great attentive service and a rustic environment. Great appetizers, especially the cheese plate and the beet salad. Entree favorites include the salmon and chicken dishes.

I went there with friends for an early lunch we ordered a couple of appetizers and pizzas. Food is excellent. We wanted to try something new and had the clams pizza which is really amazing. I never ate a pizza like that before.
Our waitress was very nice and very friendly.

We were early....good, friendly service...menu a little hard to fathom...food much bigger (even small plates) than expected...quality was better than expected...though awfully noisy early on a Friday night....kids running around, etc...will def come again..though, later in the eve. Bowl of Bucatini and Peekytoe Crab super delicious. Def expensive.

nice place, food is ok. I ordered crispy calamari and caprese as apetizers, was good. After salmon for my wife and pizza broccoli rabe and sausage for me. The salmon was ok, but i don't liked the pizza, too much garlic, withouth borders, after 2 slices was disgusting. I hope they will improve with pizza. Service was ok. I will return to try different things

We ate there while in town for business. While we had eaten there a while back, and it was always good, I was really impressed with the menu; several Mexican dishes that were very good, and overall a nice selection. The staff was professional, and it's a nice atmosphere. We'll go back.
