For a Mediterranean menu with an innovative twist, the superb Tomata is a dining experience that cannot be missed. You'll also find a wine list featuring some of the best wines that Greece has to offer. Tomata is an inspiring culinary journey promising a fiesta of colours, aromas and tastes.
We had a very good meal at Tomato, we had a lesson from the wonderful Manager on the Byzantine era which was very interesting. We shared a selection of starters, grilled calamari, duck spring rolls, which were delish, the fried prawns wrapped in Kataifi pastry are OMG amazing. Good grilled chicken skewers with aubergine puree , a lovely meal in lovely surroundings,

Welcome to a selection of tempting traditional Greek fare presented with a pleasing contemporary twist. Enjoy the freshest seafood platters perfect for sharing with everyone at your table whilst taking in the best views Sani has to offer; all perfectly complemented with our impressive selection of wines sourced from across the country and beyond.
Typical Greek restaurant, with views of the sea. Outdoor dining and Maria is the most lovely lady who will go out of her way to help families with young children. She is a real star.

Enjoy the authentic tastes of the trattoria with this selection that will please even the hungriest of diners in your party. Our deliciously creative menu brings you the tempting flavours of Italian classics and homemade pasta, together with a choice of our very popular pizzas baked in a traditional wood-fired oven.
Included in Sani's dine around programme this is, in our experience, the friendliest restaurant in the resort. This was our second visit to Sani and we ate here 4 evenings out of the 10. The reason for our repeat visits was not only the excellent value and choice in the dine around programme (20 euros a head), but the quality of the food, excellent service and friendly staff.

Take your pick from this fabulous choice of Greek favourites including our house speciality of lamb on the spit. Guests can freely visit the rotisserie where our meats are slowly grilled to perfection over charcoal. This classic simple Greek taverna will have your taste buds dancing.
We ate here for the first time for my birthday in October 2016. We had hired a babysitter and had left our children with a virtual stranger for the first time so we probably rushed through our food to rush back to the hotel to make sure everything was ok. We took our kids with us this time so no need to rush.
Well, what a difference it made. The food was amazing, the setting was amazing, the staff were amazing and we left there a little drunk which is rare because I am teetotal.
I ate steak (as always) with mash and roasted veg. The wife also had steak. Both were cooked to perfection.
The staff are so friendly. They play with the kids, smoosh their cheeks and generally make them feel loved - the kids love it!
When the kids were tired, my wife asked if they would kindly warm us some milk for their bottles. My wife said "Happy to pay whatever you say as I know it is not on the menu." the response was "Madam, we would never charge you for milk for your babies. We would not hear of it!"
Just an all round wonderful place. I said in my sani review that the Grill by the Pool was the best place we ate for dinner but as I sit and write this, it is hard to argue that Vosporos doesn't wear the crown.
Anyway, go and eat there. You absolutely will not be disappointed!!

None, but I will publish review it as soon as it is listed.
Located immediately when you reach Chalkidiki, the advantage of Potideia (equal to Nea Potideia for the purpose of tourism review) is that you do not spend time on the busy road within the peninsula. The locals tend to look at this village with a derogatory look because its population includes many "Russo-Greeks". I have never understood the relation between the ethnic composition of this village with the service quality. Actually, it looks to me that the service I have received in this village was equal, if not better, to the general service level in the area.
As the village includes two groups of beach, those looking eastward and those facing the west, I am providing here the directions to reach the specific bar: From Thessaloniki, start keeping an eye on the right sidewalk after you pass the coffee shop-pastry shop "Terkenlis". Then, turn right after the hotel "Portes", using a dust way going 45° right (2 o'clock). When you reach the river intersection, go left towards the Beaches facing the East. (By the way, if you take a right you go westward...). Drive slowly as you may encounter some drivers in the turns, probably thinking they're alone in that part of the world. After a few yards, park. The beach bar is the second one from where you come.
Why do I like this place? First, for its sea. It is like a giant jaccusi. It is like apstcard showing Hawai, without the cyclones and the sharks... Fine sand, blue and clear sea, the beach is smoothly descending inside the water, allowing you to enjoy warm waters while touching ground without being stuck to the shore. Those who like will find cooler waters slighly further deep into the sea. But the combination of fine sand and wide maritime "plateau" really allow a sea experience with minimum fear or danger for kids.
Then, the beach itself offers free beach beds and an umbrella. Bring your own towels. You just need to order coffee or any kind of drink... at a very reasonable price.
The music is great. They have Greek music but also house music, pop etc. Enough to ask and they will comply...
I was happily surprised by the food. I ordered almost all the kinds of meat, with some accompanying bread and extra salad. I could not believe it! Tasty, cheap in price and wonderfully served. Altogether, I have paid 20 € for food, drinks and the (free) beds all the day. No restriction on food and beverage... Of course, the meat is frozen. We do not speak about a gourmet Michelin restaurant. But, again, food quality, freshness and taste allow a break from freshly cut pieces if you are at a beach!
The only slight minus would be about the crowd of noisy visitors who may come around. But then, it would be an equivalent remark wherever you go in Chalkidiki, at a public or private beach, in Summer. Therefore, I am avoiding the whole area on week-ends.
From all the Beaches and beach bars I have visited, the Aqua Beach Bar remains my #1 spot in Chalkidiki.
