This place is awesome! They have cakes, pies, desserts & cheesecakes. We always go here for the carrot cake or the red velvet cake. There cupcakes are incredibly delicious. When we go here I always can't decide because we truly like everything. We also have ordered custom cakes for graduation parties & they were very fresh & good.

Specifically, my daughter-in-law, to know what a gem this place is. She and my son flew in from Seattle, and after that first hot, fresh bagel straight off of the oven, she had me bring her back two more times. It's a consumer-friendly industrial experience, where you put on your plastic glove, and pick from bins and racks of the freshest, best tasting baked goods you ever ate. I've heard from many restaurants in the area that their breads, served next to their signature dishes, come from Rockland Bakery, and it's no Wonder (yes, pun intended!)
I plan on visiting more frequently, and not taking this wonderful place for granted any longer.

With 16 taps of fresh craft beer and hundreds of bottles of the finest beers from around the world, Growler & Gill is the perfect destination for devoted beer enthusiasts as well as newcomers to the pleasures of craft beer. Our establishment is aptly named; you’re invited to sample our selections on-premise in a “gill”—the British equivalent of a 4-ounce glass and fill up a “growler,” a 64-ounce glass refillable jug. Stop in and enjoy a pint, have a cold bottle from our coolers or mix a six-pack of your favorite microbrews to go. Not surprisingly, our bar menu was created with beer in mind— a delicious twist on traditional pub fare that pairs perfectly with every craft beer we serve.Stop in and visit us to see what all the buzz is about and why Growler & Gill is becoming the destination of choice for craft beer lovers in the Tri-state area.
We went for an Oktoberfest celebration, which was fairly overhyped. The German music promised was recorded, waitresses wore a German hat, big deal, and the Oktoberfest-style tent was not much bigger than my bedroom. The German food was OK but the beer, especially the ones with higher alcohol content, comes in small portions that the real Oktoberfest would be embarrassed to serve. You can buy large glasses and get refills, but by that time we were pretty fed up, no pun intended. They have many beers in bottles and cans and you can mix and match your own six-pack. Not really worth the trip unless you're in the neighborhood. And oh, the indoor part of the restaurant has ladies' rest rooms; men were relegated to portable toilets outside the tent, with no sinks for hand-washing. Very classy. If you've ever been to the real Oktoberfest in Munich, you know what a loud, drunken communal experience the men's rooms there can be, but at least they have sinks. The nearby BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse doesn't have nearly as large a selection of beers, and it is a chain, but you may have better luck there.

Martio's offered a nice slice of pizza. We got pepperoni and mushrooms to go. Nothing particularly great but nothing too bad either. Pizza wasn't that hot and I expected more cheese. The portion was average size. The price was about $4.50 for two toppings. It met my need for a slice of pizza.

This place has the best bagels in Rockland County in my opinion. There is usually a line however it does move fast. Great for breakfast, I love the Greek omelet on a bagel. American style coffee is not as horrible as in other places.

Enjoying dining and drinking at BJs. Always get the Pirahna pale ale and california flatbread pizza to start. The spinach artichoke is good and wings are always a really good bet. I have had the burgers, the chicken alfredo and salads and everything is consistently good. The staff is always always amiable and always make you want to return. I do!!

Posa Posa is a family owned and operated authentic Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Nanuet, NY. Treat yourself to great Italian dishes, and of course, pizza!
We've been here many times for pizza, and have liked that. I have tried their regular and their veggie, and both are good. My daughter had liked one of their salads. Tonight, we tried their dining room (There are a few sections of this restaurant. There are 3 rooms for Dining Room service, and one smaller room, plus the pizza ordering part, to sit down and eat the pizza which you first order from the counter.). I love eggplant parm, and usually get it from Italian restaurants; this was no exception. Before I even ordered, I was really surprised by the price! It was nearly $16, and with that, you got a choice of either salad or pasta! It also came with hot, crusty bread and butter. The eggplant was okay. It was burnt in spots, which I really didn't mind. It wasn't the biggest portion in the world, but it was ample and very filling. It was a little on the mushy side, but little breading (this part, I liked). The spaghetti it came with tasted pasty, and I didn't think the sauce had too much flavor. It definitely was not al dente, but it didn't taste like it was just a matter of being overcooked, either; it tasted pasty! It wasn't worth the calories for me to eat much more than a couple of forkfuls. This meal was DEFINITELY not worth $16! My daughter loved the pasta she ordered with chicken, broccoli, sun dried tomatoes (which cost $2 extra; we found this out when the bill came), in garlic and oil; this was a huge dish. My son liked his sauteed spinach and his Penne Vodka (I didn't taste either--or my daughter's dish.). Oh, and once the food came, no waiter came by while we ate, to find out if we were satisfied or if we needed anything.
My advice is IF you come, stick with pizza.

We have been going there for years and it was time to post a review. Best pizza around indeed. It can be a bit noisy at times since it really is a family place. Still the pizza is worth a stop off. The only one thing that ownership could possibly improve upon is to upgrade the draught beer selection.

Sushis was superb. Hibachi was entertaining and delicious. An expensive, but good meal. Probably would return for sushi next time and skip hibachi.

We were staying over in Nanuet for the night and wanted to go someplace to get
a good meal. We picked the Nanuet Restaurant based on web reviews. It's not fancy. and it looks like it's been around for a long time. Most of the customers appeared to be local people who knew the staff. We both had eggplant parm with pasta and a
glass of wine and got a very nice salad to share. We had plenty to eat and it was very good and quite
inexpensive.
