I tried to book a table ahead of time on a Friday evening, but unfortunately Joe's doesn't accept reservations. We meeting a friend who was traveling to Muncie who happened to get their early. Thank goodness because at 6PM on Friday on a cold winter's evening, they were waiting outside. Joe's is a locally owned and operated restaurant. We met one of the owners and his background at large chain restaurants combined with the knowledge of the local community has resulted in a very good place to eat. This is not fine dining, its just really good food with good service. Joe's has a nice variety on their menu. Since we are on the low carb diet, we found lots of good choices. The salads were well proportioned, the entrees were perfectly prepared, and we all enjoyed our meal. Well Done Joe's!

Chose this restaurant based on the reviews and because I was craving Thai. Was seated immediately and had a very nice waitress. Ordered red curry with chicken and a glass of wine — all was delicious. The curry was the perfect amount of spicy-ness and the perfect size serving for dinner. Not a fancy place — but casual nice.

The last time I visited Savage's I had a burger. It was delicious! I usually get the chicken quesadilla because it is so good. I've also had the tenderloin and it was one of the best I've had. The beer selection is great and always cold. Love the hometown feel of Savage's.

Opening its doors in 1999, Vera Mae’s began its story as a lunch delivery and catering business through its South Walnut street storefront in downtown Muncie. Owner Kent Shuff pioneered the revitalization of Muncie’s historical district and later expanded the restaurant in 2002. Formerly Ballard Hardware, Kent and co-owner and partner, Steve Fennimore created the Ballaird Hall, increasing the original Bistro from 54 seats to 210 seats. Come explore the living history of a Midwestern staple. On our walls you will find part namesake, Vera Yates (Kent's Grandmother) at her restaurant and gas station, along with David Letterman on an evening out. Everything has a story as the modern local art and historic architectural elements combine for an intoxicating evening of hand-crafted cuisine and delectable drinks.
My wife and I went to this eclectic bistro on a Friday night. Made a reservation and were seated immediately. We were very impressed with the interior and the very nice and very eclectic art on the wall. We shared an appetizer, each had a...MoreWe're so happy to hear of your experience. Stopped here during visit to Ball State. Nice place in walking distance to campus, food is bar and grill fare. I had manimal burger and it was pretty good. Wife and daughter had black bean burger and said it was average. Was looking forward to house made chips with burger, but they came out burnt. They offered to replace, but would be half hour wait, so didn't get. Overall a nice place close to campus, but not a must visit place.

The food here is absolutely amazing. Something I could eat every single day! We had the Yalangee and Hummus appetizers to start out with- the Yalangee is fantastic! It looks questionable at first sight, but the flavor is unbelievable. For our entrée, we chose the "create your own feast." It is perfect for two people. We had the flank steak and the sumac chicken. Both meats are so tender and super marinated. We chose the couscous, house salad with the homemade vinaigrette, and the damask fries. The fries are so good- they have the best flavor. And finally, we finished off with some Baklava- sooo good! Everything basically comes with pita- which is some of the best pita I have ever had. The food here is all-around A+ and absolutely a must try when you are in Muncie. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. The overall atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. You just cannot beat this place!

Excellent! Muncie needs more restaurants such as this. Service is top notch. Food is delicious and different from the typical 'American' style food in town. Price is reasonable. I love coming here for lunch every now and then for something different.

They have a great choice of pizza options and numerous choices for their grinders. My wife and I like different items on our pizza so the small ones are better than getting a large size. We vist close by and I will carry out to our room at Comfort Inn and Suites

Here at Tuppee Tong Thai Restaurant, we take pride in our authentic Thai recipes that come from family recipes and our grandmother's tastes. The food is what you would think of when you think asian style food. But it is the best place in muncie in my opinion to get that style of food. The rice desert was really good and the service was great. I'll be going...MoreIt's wonderful to hear you enjoyed everything from your dessert to the service! I'm really happy that you had an overall great dining experience, and we can't wait to have you back again soon. See you next time! -Tony, Owner
