SHIOK treats our guests to a unique dining experience through great tasting food, a clean and beautiful ambiance, relaxing music and excellent service. When you stepped into the restaurant, you will be awed by the decor, which is contemporary yet retaining the Asian Old World Charm. Shiok serves authentic Singaporean and Asian cuisines. Shiok was cited by Roger Brooks International as the Best Asian Restaurant in Idaho and one of the best in the Northwest. Shiok was voted by Boise Best Bites as the Best Restaurant in Elmore County for 2017. Shiok can host your parties here or we can prepare party trays for that special event at home. Please call to make your reservations. Shiok is conveniently located 1 mile north of the Mountain Home Air Force Base Main Gate.
A true Singapore restaurant just outside the main gate of the USAF base. Atmosphere is not that great, service is spotty, but the food is real good.

We stopped in for coffee drinks before going to find breakfast, but there was breakfast too. We were greeted and served by friendly employees. My frozen mocha and hubby's latte were great! We had their breakfast wraps which were delicious and hot! Recommend!!

Had Sunday breakfast here while visiting family. Was surprised by the smallness of the place, was even more pleasantly surprised by the food. We even ended the meal with dessert! Very quaint with all different dishes & glasses being served with your food. They should offer a kids menu or serve smaller portions for kids. That was my only complaint. My husband's credit card did manage to freeze his machine, but it finally went thru. Had a great time. Good food!

There's not a huge selection here (it IS Mountain Home after all) but it is really creamy and tastey so I was happy.

Drive up coffee stand with the nicest, friendliest staff. The coffee is top notch and hte flavor combinations are the absolute best. They make a Blueberry, White Chocolate Mocha that is worth the drive from California for. They have lots of other unique drinks available too, all very good. When we were leaving we asked about the blueberry syrup and hte gal sold us a bottle to bring home. They only use the absolute best beans, machines and flavorings money can buy. The best part is, their prices do not reflect that, they are very reasonable. Could not start my day in Mountain Home without a stop here.

Wingers knows that you need a comfortable and dependable local spot to watch a sports game, eat some delicious American food, and drink a cold beer. We've perfected the art of giving you the comfort of a classic diner with the energy of your local bar. So come spend some time with our family, and don't leave without trying our famous wings and sticky fingers!
While staying at the BW next door, we had a voucher for breakfast and with no other place to go, decided to also have dinner there the night before. The place is sports bar-like, with an appealing menu at a somewhat high price range. We were quickly greeted and seated; the orders were taken and from there on everything went wrong. Only one order was right, so we ate practically separately, as it took a while to get the replacement. When we were done, we had to ask repeatedly for the bill and, to our surprise, we were charged 3x dinners, including the one we never ordered. Moreover, it took some discussion to correct the situation and only when we were about to leave, a manager came by to apologize. Next day, the breakfast was ok, but the included choices were modest and service sluggish. Maybe it was just bad luck, but we’re not eager to visit again.

Traveling through the area and stopped here for lunch. Wife and I both had the salad bar. We were both pleasantly surprised. Large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. There were also several salads, a potato, pasta salad, cottage cheese, chips and salsa and potato skins. We both left full.

Total throwback to the 70s & 80s, including the music. The Blue Cheese Burger with Avocado was soooo delicious. My husband was equally as pleased with the Texas Cheeseburger.Of course, the tater tots and fries were so fresh and crisp. This was the first stop on this first leg of our trip. We may be stopping on our way back through!

Classic NY City Style Pizza by the Slice. Fold it in Half and Eat on the Run or order a whole Pie for the family!
We love the pizza and especially their meal deal. Two slices and a drink for $6.50! The slices aren't chincy either. I'm not a meat eater, and a couple times they were out the cheese pizza, and made a fresh one, so don't be afraid to ask! Plenty of dining area, and take out seems very popular.
