Home cooking at it's best very friendly servers . Great buffet and fried chicken and homemade pies . You can have one piece of pie or order a whole one . Little cafe like you would see on Mayberry RFD .

The service, atmosphere, and especially the coffee are outstanding here! I was really happy to find this place after moving here, it's definitely worth the 20 minute drive for us to have a great coffee and nice place to relax.

This is an excellent little breakfast restaurant that we found on our driving map and we were intrigued by the name alone. Being redheaded myself we were pretty obligated to go here as we are driving through to another destination. It is a very cute hole in the wall restaurant in a very small town in Missouri. The walls are adorned with old cookbooks. Not sure if they were in the family or if they were bought just as decor, in addition the food was delicious and very obviously home-made. The pastries and the food all had the taste of love and the look of somebody who would definitely been doing this for a number of years.
Our only issue with our time here was: this was our first time eating at this restaurant & we didn't understand the ordering system. the lady just kind of handed you a sheet of paper to circle what you wanted to eat but she didn't even explain that, she really just handed us a paper and a pencil and then walked away.
We went there on a morning as we were driving through but it appears as if they have a lot of specials for lunch and even some live music at times.

Our food was better than the average Mexican restaurant. We were all pleased with our food. The kids quesadilla may have been the best tasting item we ordered. Cheese dip is a little bland, we added the spicy salsa to liven it up. My spinach enchiladas appeared to have fresh spinach and were excellent. Overall a nice quick travel lunch on the way through town.

Doodles is a newly opened, cute and welcoming sandwich and dessert shop. They serve lunch from 11-2 and sweets from 10-6. The sandwiches and desserts are delicious. I've eaten here several times now with different family members, the food has always been amazing! From the freshly baked croissants used for the sandwiches, to the freshly baked pies....always divine. Our little town is so fortunate to have this mom and daughter duo open their doors and share these goodies with us. They also have local artwork adorning the walls and sell art supplies and provide painting lessons if you'd like to indulge in something other than their yummy treats. Be sure to leave room for dessert!

Just take business route 44 off I-44 from either direction and you'll spot this classic family-oriented diner on a bit of a hill on the south side of the road. Spacious, airy, friendly. Minimal décor; maximum emphasis on home-style food. The food is made fresh for each diner, and yet is delivered remarkably quickly. Not the cheapest café, but you get a lot of food for your money. Well worth the stop.

Have been coming here for several years, but today has not been very good experience. Taco pizza is supposed to have lettuce on it, well the lettuce was very hard to find. Have worked at Mazzio"s so I know what it is supposed to be and the crust was almost burned

This is another regular stop while traveling for lunch. They did a great job with my sandwich and the service was very good. They were a young group, but very helpful.

My husband and I were passing by the town, looking for a beer and some bar food for lunch. We pulled up and there was a handwritten sign on the outside that said "Come as strangers and leave as friends!" What a true statement!! We talked to everyone in this bar, sang karaoke with them, heard their stories and left as friends, shaking hands and giving hugs! We did have awesome homemade pulled pork and homemade BBQ sandwiches for lunch, which were delicious! Needless to say, we were there longer than we planned but had SO much fun!! I highly recommend stopping here and meeting a new friend.

Beginning a day of driving with McDonalds Coffee and breakfast, did not go well at this location!!!
So, we ordered, two breakfast sandwiches, two coffee and an oatmeal. Employee calls a number, we never got a number, he says is this yours?
Um, no we had oatmeal; Oh...guy proceeds to make oatmeal soup, yay.
I say, what about coffee, we had two! Oh....he gets us two coffees this all took 4 minutes
I say, can I have a spoon for my oatmeal; I get a fork and knife!?
Sit down to my oatmeal soup, coffee tastes like an ashtray...
We leave....not a good experience
at all!!
