There is a reason why this place is always packed. Since 1945. They started on Third Street in Mount Vernon. My grandparents took me there almost every Saturday from the time I could eat Pizza. Very thin crust. Johnny had a pie call "marinara". No chease but lots of garlic. My grandfather had him make it. 71 years later, it is now a gourmet menu item! They are now at their third location (for the last 30 years). This is the kind of Pizza that you eat a whole pie by yourself; 8 full slices. As they say, often imitated, never duplicated.

This hibachi restaurant was fun for the whole family. Our large group had a private room for a special birthday dinner, and the chef and wait staff were very attentive. Some of the kids in our group shifted seats after we had already placed orders with the waitress. When the chef came to our room, he double-checked our seating positions and food orders before cooking to make sure everyone got what they ordered. We all ate and drank well, and the wait staff checked in frequently. When we left, we noticed that the place was packed and there were several groups waiting for seats -- good signs of how popular this place is!

Best pizzeria and nicest guys around. The chicken calzone is delicious and their regular and sausage pies are the best. Long live Louie and Ernie!

AJ's is a collaboration of America's Favorite Foods served seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. AJ makes everything in house using fresh ingredients and an orchestra of recipes. We serve pan sandwiches on our homemade bread; chicken, broccoli, rabe with provolone and hot cherry peppers is one of our most popular, beyond our burgers, sliders, chicken parmigiana and our delicous 12” thin crust pizzas!
We came to watch our grandson's football game at the high school and read up about AJ's for dinner after the game. Pleasantly surprised even better than reviews. Very friendly service. The boys enjoyed making their bread shapes. Food is fresh and delicious. Wonderful family...MoreThanks so much for coming in, and taking the time to write us a review. We really appreciate it!

This is one of the best Greek restaurants in Westchester. The service is good and the prices are fair. There is an extensive dinner menu. This time we had the saganaki flambe which was really good and fun to watch them prepare at our table. We also had the moussaka and the pastichio. The moussaka was better. I have had better pastichio at some diners.
Sometimes I think it is better to just skip the entrees and just order a bunch of appetizers.
All in all we like this place and will probably return.

I stopped into their carry out section yesterday to get a small cheese pizza to bring to my mother. She craves pizza and whenever I visit I get her some as a treat from her usual meals. This time I tried Joe's and it was great. The pizza, with extra cheese, reminded me of the pies we used to have growing up in Brooklyn. Crust was perfectly cooked, thin, and folded up well.
My mother enjoyed it immensely. Great job guys.
The only drawback is the parking situation but there isn't really anything they can do about that.

I love the pizza here, it's the best in the area. Especially like their spinach and chicken options. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

X2O Xaviars on the Hudson is Peter X Kelly’s latest addition to the Xaviars Restaurant Group. It sits in the water on the only turn of the century Victorian pier still in use on the Hudson River. X2O’s Main Dining Salon's 25 foot vaulted ceiling and 3 walls of glass frame offers views of the George Washington and Tappan Zee Bridges, as well as sunsets over the Palisades. Guests encounter dishes incorporating classic French technique with Italian and Spanish influences, and Asian embellishments which create a wholly original cuisine unique to the Hudson Valley. The Dylan Lounge is a vibrant, up-tempo space with a sophisticated and playful bent that offers guests more dining options. Guests are invited to sample a variety of small plates and sushi, while dining at the Communal Table, sushi bar, or at traditional banquette and table seating.
The food tasted delicious and view overlooking the river was amazing. Unfortunately, 2 members of our party got sick that night. The one thing they ate in common was the seafood crepe appetizer.
The service left a lot to be desired. The main course was served immediately after the appetizer. We had to remind the server several times about our drink orders. The ala carte side dish was served after we ate our entrées. Lastly, I did not appreciate having an 18-20% tip automatically added to our tab since the service was lacking.
I would return to this restaurant for drinks during the warmer months so I can enjoy the Hudson River views.

Everything, All American dishes. We have dined on many occasions here and never disappointed. It can be harried on a weekend night and reservations are more difficult. Definitely not a drop in restaurant.
Their bread is absolutely delicious, but do not stuff yourself as the portions here are not dainty. leave room for dessert.

Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx. It was fantastic!
I finally had a chance to eat here. I ordered the veal parm hero/wedge/hoagie/sub.
I sat at a table in the bar. The waiter brought out a bread basket. It was Arthur Ave bread, and it was delicious. When my sandwich was brought to the table, the visual is the contents of the sandwich. But when I picked it up, I could feel the bread was freshly baked. Like it came out of the oven an hour or two ago. When was the last time that happened! The sandwich was moist and tender. The bread quality enhanced the sandwich. Cost was $12. Locally, I can get a sandwich for $9.00, but the quality isn't the same. Can't wait to return.
