A group of us went for the brunch buffet. I was frankly disappointed by the selection, especially for an $18/person price tag. The food choices leaned heavily towards lunch/dinner fare (e.g. chicken parmesan, meatballs, fried fish) and the breakfast end of the brunch spectrum was pretty much excluded, except for scrambled eggs. There wasn't even bacon!
The best part about the brunch was our server. He was very friendly and attentive and in a great mood even during the initial brunch rush.

We visit about once every 3 months. Always good food, good beers, and great service!!! Big sandwiches and many to pick from. Used to have burger night during the week and it was a great value. Love the salad bar because I'm not a fan of French fries.

The D Q is one of our favorite places to go for good food. I love the $5. meal deals. They have coupons some months for blizzards. We enjoy the Christian music they play in the dinning room.

The place does not seem like much from the outside. Two floors with the bar and eating area on the top floor and the main restaurant downstairs. You want to enter from the side door and eat downstairs because it is less noisy. The food is traditional Western Pennsylvania Italian. The restaurant has an excellent steak sandwich. I would also recommend the sausage pasta and the Goo's pizza special if you like spicy food. The drawbacks to the restaurant are the fact that it accepts only cash which can cause you to scurry to the nearest ATM and you only get one refill for your drinks but they do provide you with a large glass. I spoke to the owner once who said they give unlimited refills on tea but the staff continues to limit the tea to one refill as well. The food is very good to excellent and is a regular eating place when we visit in Pennsylvania. They will take reservations if you have a large group.

They were able to accomodate a larger group (12 including little ones) with a reservation. The waitress was extremely efficient and friendly, and the food was fabulous! Loved the phots covering the walls of the folks from the area (so I was told) who served in the armed forces, mostly Ww2 era. Also framed groupings of medals and patches. Nice for someone who is interested in such things.

I was most impressed with the service. Everyone was genuinely nice and helpful. I tried the smoked chicken, it was good. I wasn't impressed with the sides. I ordered the glazed yams, they were basically boiled yams, nothing like what I would have gotten in the South. I ordered the pasta with cheese, again, unimpressed. The dessert was the best! I had peanut butter and jelly cheesecake. It was excellent and had a beautiful presentation. I would go again to try different menu items, but it's far from the best BBQ I've ever had.

My daughter and I visited the Greendance Winery at Sand Hill Berries Farm. Unfortunately the café does not open until May. However, the wine tasting was available and our hostess, Diane, was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us choose a few of their delicious wines. My personal favorite was the Gewurztraminer. Also, the sweet Isabella was a special treat. There is a fine selection of gift items and a bakery is also located on the Farm with many yummy pastries.

Just as good as the last time I was in here! Glad I made the suggestion for a small group. Food was great. Service was great. I would definitely come again

I had looked up some restaurants in the Mt. Pleasant, Pa, area, on Trip Advisorbefore we left. The Village had good ratings, and when I asked at the hotel about good places to have dinner, they suggested The Village in Mt. Pleasant. It was only a few miles from the Holiday Inn Express we stayed at, so we decided to check it out. It's a nice size, but not huge Italian restaurant, and they serve a nice variety of Italian, steaks, burgers and sandwiches, and pizza. My wife ordered a white pizza which she said was one of the best she has ever had. I ordered the seafood medley of broiled cod, shrimp and scallops. The scallops were okay, but the shrimp and cod were very dry and lacked flavor. I thought being broiled there would be some nice flavor, but they were very dry with no butter sauce. Overall the meal was okay, and the prices were reasonable. I should have tried their veal parm ! The service was good and I would suggest it, but stay away from the seafood!
