We ate dinner at Canoe in October. Had the mac and cheese with pulled bbq pork. The portion was very tasty and huge. Good service and reasonable prices. Would return.

The red flannel hash was home made and just like Mama used to make. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were just right. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly and courteous. We had no complaints, would go back when in the area.

What a wonderful find! Located in historic Center Sandwich, NH in a pleasant setting near many other historic homes. Friendly and down to earth service. Our server was Matthew, could not have been nicer. Once seated (in what was clearly the original attic with exposed rafters), we ordered a couple of beers on tap, ice cold! For dinner one order was a shellfish sauté (scallops, lobster, shrimp in a tomato based sauce)with the most fresh butternut squash on the side. This was excellent! The other order was a Greek chicken sauté (chicken, artichoke, olives, sun dried tomatoes) over fettuccine in a seasoned garlic butter sauce. Again, excellent. Servings are large, no room for dessert. Hope to be back again someday soon

When in the area we eat here several times. The food is always good, fish tacos, burgers, onion rings, New England chowder. It's usually bustling but they do take reservations. It's an old fashioned country restaurant where the wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nothing fancy but good food!

The Bob House is layed out with two bar areas and a main dining room. Service is friendly. The food is good to very good, with a wide range of selections where consistent preparation is apparent. The menu is American oriented, soup and salads abound,...MoreSo glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. Thank you very much for the business and kind review. Me and my family appreciate it

This is a terrific desert destination. The ice cream was great.

Do not drive by without stopping.
Prices are very fair especially for the quantity served. They make waffle cones all day long. The aroma is wonderful.
Cannot stop the positive reporting on this place. Beautiful store front as well. Great!!!!!

The aroma that surrounds the Cider Bellies stand only hints at how much you will enjoy these mouth-watering treats. Take one bite and you will know why New Hampshire Magazine named Cider Bellies a “must visit” place in New Hampshire.
These are hands down the best doughnuts I've ever had! And I don't really like doughnuts usually. They serve these warm, right out the oven and are to die for! I highly recommend the cinnamon sugar doughnuts! They are worth a long drive!

It's called Village Cafe on the Green (or something long like that) Terrible name, Great place to get coffee, chai, latte, pastry's, a sandwich or two, and a few grocery items. We love this new place!

Coffee shop and bakery specializing in fantastic coffee (including espresso drinks) and freshly-baked pastries made every day onsite in our wee kitchen.
I used to spend my childhood summers in this part of New Hampshire years ago. There was nothing in the way of coffee shops on Rt 109. My girlfriend was craving her morning cappuccino and what a surprise to find this cafe not far from the junction of 109 and 25. She said the coffee was very good. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but I did try and apple bar and it was delicious. This was a nice find and surprise.

AWESOME! WISHED THIS RESTAURANT WAS NEAR WHERE I LIVE!!! Three of us dined on Friday night & we all were THRILLED with our meals. We were in the tavern upstairs, which worked great because we were in jeans & sweatshirts. The staff was super welcoming. Attentive server without being overbearing. Sangria was good. Cheeseburger & fries - EXCEPTIONAL. You know how sometimes you think about the burger days after you ate it? That's the kind of burger they cook!!!! My husband got the haddock and he thought it was outstanding. My friend got steak frites & she loved it. DEFINITELY make a plan to go to Center Harbor & eat here - just lovely!
