Was recommended by friends and decided to try it for a quick lunch. We went for the menu for 16.50 including main dish and dessert. I chose the fish of the day who was very tasty but the rice with it was over cooked. The veg were fresh and tasty too. We had for dessert the charlotte au chocolat which was a big mistake: not nice presentation, to heavy, we expected something much more with a home made charlotte style and taste. Only 3 desserts were on the menu so was obvious for us to pick the charlotte.
At lunch time you expect to be looked after very quickly which was not the case. The restaurant was quickly full. I guess after 12.45 it's necessary to book. We didn't.

Anyone owning Stephane Renaud's excellent book "Ripailles" would expect authentic French Lyonnaise cooking of a high standard; in the event the menu and its preparation was average to say the least; as was the inattentive service. The wine list, though interesting in its variety and quality, seemed overpriced by comparison to other restaurants in the price range. Ali in all, the experience was of a house with an inflated idea of of its own importance; M Renaud was not in the house on the night we dined there.

As being a couple half french half english, staff from this kind of place do not take us seriuously as credible costumers. It is not because of "our condition" that we do not know what to eat or drink
Pity as the food was good though advise on the wine choice was nul!
Nevertheless, one must give credit for this place to exist in Montreuil and support it for to continue to exist!

Reservation here is essential. This is a tiny restaurant, clearly always full. You are welcomed on arrival and the service throughout is attentive and when necessary informative. The menu contains lots of fish and seafood, though there's enough to keep the meat eaters interested. Everything we had was delicious, but the best was the langoustines.

Business lunch for a customer and I consisted of 2 menus at noon, one for 22E and the other for 24E. This cuisine was very refined and good, the portions were small and refined like nouvelle cuisine. The young restaurant manager is very likeable and helpful. His chef is outstanding. This is better than paying a lot of money in central Paris for a dissapointing restaurant. Very good, try it.
Aa racommander, merci.

We came here for dinner on my daughter's 15th birthday since we were renting an airbnb house nearby. This restaurant had a surprisingly varied menu, with several different options for our vegetarian teenager (she loved the tortellini and so did the birthday girl). I had the burger (a very good, creative and delicious preparation) and my son and fiancee both had the risotto with chicken and lemon -- and they both cleaned their plates entirely! This was one of the few times in France, so far, that all five of us really, really enjoyed our meals. The server spoke only a very little english, but with my limited French and the fact that we used google translate to help interpret the menu, we did very well. The service was helpful, attentive and friendly. An overall great experience. This place is a neighborhood gem!

We were taken here by my cousin who is Parisien and has his office in this neighbourhood. This is a wine merchant turned restaurateur. The food was perfectly prepared. My wife had fish with strips of vegetables cut like tagliatelle, I had a steak. Both were exactly correct. With hers there was a mousse aux courgettes that was light and luscious. With my steak were potatoes. Potatoes can be prepared many ways, and these were roasted in a light cream sauce. The wine that accompanied the meal was perfect.

After too much walking in high temperatures we decided not to go back to central Paris, so researched Tripadvisor for French restaurants near our hotel. CO2 being the first with good reviews we decided on it and we're not disappointed. The unusual strawberry consommé caught my eye and was a wonderful starter, in fact we found the food to be first class and really enjoyed our last night in Vincennes, until the next time.

At restaurant "la table d'Emile" dishes are "home maid" with fresh products. Offer is different every week with 5 entries, 6 dishes among which 1 fish and 5 desserts of which a plate of refined cheeses. The cooking is inspired by the French traditional dishes. 3 Spaces: a beautiful room ( 70 flatware) where you will discover the comfort of tables wider than somewhere else, a covered Terrace and a Terrace on street lined with plants
I had hoped on something a little extra from what I read on the other reviews, the food was fine, My entree was a Pastry with Bluechees was reheated (cold in the middle, but not is the sides), which is kind of disappointing, or at least the fact that I feeld that is was reheaded.. Else OK, but the Chef was a very friendly and that is what makes the experience Good.
