This Dunkin' Donuts is attached to a gas station and has very easy access on & off I-24. The coffee is good and there are fresh donuts to choose from. A perfect place to stop for gas for the car and fuel for you.

Stopped on the way through on I24. It was a great sandwich and had lots of options to choose from. There is also some locally made items for sale in the store.

Built inside a 1929 mansion that presumably once was financed by Al Capone, the restaurant serves a menu of traditional gourmet dishes including Brie en Croute, Blackened Salmon Oscar and Black Thai Duck. The mansion that houses the restaurant was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997 and still features the original escape hatches and underground tunnels that were used by Capone to transfer liquor during the Prohibition Era. In 2001, High Point received the "Best Gourmet Meal in Tennessee" award from "Tennessee" magazine.
This place has an awesome atmosphere, an accommodating efficient staff, history, and overpriced food given the quality. There was 12 in our party and the staff did a good job with taking care of our needs.
I started with the pork belly over sautéed cabbage. This was actually the best part of my meal. It was flavorful and meaty. Next I had the ‘lobster’ bisque which was thin, little flavor, and at this type of place I expected a small bite of lobster to be hiding within.
My entree was the seafood platter, $45...it had what appeared to be a small warm water lobster tail as it was not sweet. There was coconut shrimp and a decent size scallop. Additionally a small thin dried-out, overlooked piece of salmon was present. The scallop flavor was dominated by a charcoal flavor from the grill. Overall a huge disappointment.
I tried my wife’s rib-eye, ordered medium-rate with emphasis on rare...came out medium. That was also the case for several others in the party. I question whether these steaks are truly aged as they did not have the texture of what I am accustomed to at steak house having this price point.
Their shrimp was a good size and cooked right. Those that had the Cajun shrimp went on about how good it was.
One other item of excellence, the grilled pound cake....the caramel is what put it over the top!!!
All and all, our party had a great time. I most likely will not revisit unless the group chooses to go again. If I do, I will not order seafood or steak....
In my opinion, the kitchen staff/servers/management need to take this type of review seriously and make the necessary adjustments. For example, my buddy received his bisque and salad at the same time, which was about ten minutes or so after I received my appetizer. Inexcusable to have charcoal taste dominating a flavor. It’s also inexcusable to overcook at least four steaks. My advice to them is to not become intoxicated by all of the gratuitous reviews...and be self critical.

My wife and I went here on the advice of the hotel clerk. Very bad choice. The food was well below average. The waitress was very pushy and rude. The prices were much higher than the quality of food and service would indicate. Any fast...MoreRon, so sorry you didn't find our food or service up to your liking. We do the best we can every day and for every customer, but sometimes we fall short. We apologize. Thanks for coming in.

Papa Ron's is an Italian restaurant that offers the best in Italian food. Our menu ranges from a wide variety of pastas, steaks, pizzas and sandwiches.
Everything took FOREVER and our server acted as if she'd rather be anywhere but waiting on our table, at least the few times we saw her. I'm not sure how good the food was because the wait was so long after we got our salads that we left before our meals arrived. The food around us looked good, perhaps they were understaffed because the restaurant was full.

The Waffle House is located very conveniently next to the Super 8, which meant that we did not have to get back in the car and search...since it was late, dark, cold and rainy. The Waffle House is the Waffle House, but the staff was really great.

Ate there going thru. Decided to eat there in order not to spend a lot of time at a big sit down restaurant. Cook was on vacation....... Substitute did the best she could do but couldn't keep up. Sat there for 1 hour. Food was great once we got it. Will try again when regular cook is there. A lot of the locals were there.

Fresh juices, smoothies, gourmet wraps, soups and salads. Open 11 to 3 everyday.
My husband and I decided to stop in while visiting family in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection of natural/organic food items the market had to offer, as well as the many locally made items. Everything from beautifully hand knit hats to vibrant tie dyed tshirts, antiques, and an amazing selection of hand dyed merino yarn and other knitting supplies. We were only after a bit of dark chocolate to share, but evidently we missed out on the food truck and juice bar goodies... Next time!

We love this Mexican restaurant. You can even rent out a room for a party!!! My favorite is the tamales. They are made with chicken instead of beef. My daughter loves the fajitas. Lots of options for vegetarians as well!!!
