Milton is a suburb in Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. The population was 10,352 at the 2010 census. According to local legend, the town was named for the English poet John Milton, but the name most likely originated from William FitzWilliam, 4th Earl FitzWilliam, who held the title Viscount Milton and was a supporter of independence for the colonies during the American Revolution.

This place has some great sandwiches and salads. The staff is always nice and the place is clean. The prices are higher than other sandwich shops, but it worth it. The shop is located along the street in and fairly old building, it's quite nice to sit and watch outside as you enjoy your lunch.
If you in the area, give it a try I think you would like it.

You don't expect to find a first-rate restaurant on an island in Vermont, but this one rates all the superlatives, from our drinks to our main courses. We weren't in the least surprised that walk-ins had to be turned away; fortunately, we had a reservation. We shared a flavorful appetizer of veggie spring rolls, one of us had pasta as a main course and the other the duck breast -- both dishes were delicious -- and the recommended wines and cocktails complemented the food well. Service was friendly and efficient without being overbearing or intrusive.

I've eaten a lot of Thai food over the years. I've had Thai in cities like NYC and Philadelphia, to say nothing of Chiang Mai and Bangkok. So imagine my surprise when this unassuming little BYOB in Winooski manages to serve up some of the better stateside Thai I've ever had? I was shocked and delighted.
The curries were very good and the rotating specials on several occasions took me right back to the food stalls of Khao San Road (well, at least the more authentic Thai restaurants near that backpacker hangout). The Thai-language back page menu, unforgivingly untranslated and unmodifiable for Western palettes, offers a chance at some really great flavors. And the genuine Thai soups, noodle dishes, and other mains all offer something flavorful and unexpected.
Ignore reviews lamenting mediocre pad thai. Get outta here with that. Go back to PF Changs. Here's where you can find some new and halfway authentic Thai dishes, with hard-to-pronounce names and flavors that might just surprise you.

Yes, it’s a trip up to Milton to go to Madeline's Bakery in Milton. The reward is you get to eat and enjoy some of the best baked goods on Vermont’s West Coast. Located just behind the Milton Ace Hardware the jelly donuts, brownies and specialty goods are to die for. If they have them, the filled and butter cream frosted cupcakes will amaze you. The counter manager is a hoot and she makes sure your visit is memorable. Try them today.

Visiting area and stopped in for dinner on Sunday night. Large menu with lots of choices including salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, wings, ribs and dinner specials like meatloaf and pork chops. Food was good, large portions, reasonably priced. Restaurant was clean and service was very good. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

We like Eastman's pies, especially. When I have a party, I order cakes and they are always willing to reduce the sugar in the icing. They are very reliable when I trust them with custom orders. I'm glad they are in FAIRFAX!

Hannah was our server. Attentive, professional in dress & demeanor, wore an Eagles NFL cap (our fav team as we live nearby), friendly & patient. Three people ate to FULLNESS & the bill was >$40.oo. Will definitely stop here again when we visit VT.

Great place - whether you drive-up or drive in and go inside it's fun. It's a take-out window inside, so you can either sit in the chairs or at the picnic table in the shade of the big tree outside or go back to your car. Drive-up is awesome. Get a cone and enjoy your ride!

Very friendly welcome! Hearty lunch onroute to Stowe. Glad we stop. Recommended by a Shell gas station employee. Hot Turkey homemade with yummy fries was amazing recommended by our waitress. A side of green peas would have been nice! Coconut cream pie and hot tea was a good end to a super meal. Would love to go back for the breakfast.

This place holds a variety of great foods and they serve breakfast all day. They're all very nice but try to get there earlier than later as they fill up quite fast. The wait staff is nice and are always happy to help. They also sell local art there which is a nice touch.
