Nice Restaurant, usually very busy, so better make a Reservation, unless you don´t want to sit on the Veranda and enjoy the fantastic view. Food is fine, but not Special. Service is very polite. English spoken.

Steak&Fish House DALMATINO comes as a result of a long-lasting family tradition, dedicated work and diligent friendly staff. DALMATINO is a place where young people, friends, families and the generations of locals meet including travelers who favor Hvar and Dalmatino so that they have also became locals, a part of the family.
Dinner started with cheerful and greeting staff, everyone was so welcoming and nice. Nice atmosphere, really good looking food, which tastes even better. Unfortunately we were a big group so we had a table inside, but at the end it was even better, cause staff members were always around, making jokes, having a nice conversation with us. Full service experience. Definitely a place to go while you visiting Hvar. I had some difficulties to choose, cause all dishes sounded perfect on the menu. I had fish fillet, every bite was amazing. As well we had some appetizers and of course their famous granny's cake. With was complete delish'. Thank you! ❤️

Family run restaurant situated in a beautiful quiet olive yard in Milna, Hvar Croatia. Fantastic scenery, all-natural foods, top-notch service. Please do call for a reservation, thank you!
Great country style restaurant. Well worth the taxi drive from Hvar town! Simply prepared delicious food. Highly recommend.

We were on the prowl for grilled whole fish. We’d had grilled octopus, squid and a mixed platter of shellfish (cockles, mussels--small compared to Australian mussels), and clams at another meal. At Gostiona Milina, we got exactly what we were after–a seat by the waterfront, friendly owner and the catch of the day caught in the sea off the coast of Punta Milna by local fisherman presented to us from which we would choose our dinner. We selected a 1kg whole sea bass, popular throughout the Adriatic, which was then prepared and grilled by their master griller, a man with 35 years experience at the grill, to be shared by the two of us. The waiter assured us that he thought the griller would do a good job. Good understates it. The fish was cooked beautifully. Tender, sweet, delicious. It came with roast vegetables, bruschetta with diced tomatoes, which we used to mop up the juices in which the fish was served, and then the waiter offered us complimentary sweet dessert with cream filling (he couldn’t understand when we declined politely) plus grappa and espresso. The next day he was roasting a whole sheep, head intact, over the coals. Private deal, not for the restaurant. Pity. Looked yum.
Be certain to carry Croatian Kuna in Punta Milna. It is a small seaside village. There are no ATMs (it’s 20kms to the closest town with ATMs) and half of the 8 cafes in the village did not accept credit/debit cards. They only accepted Croatian cash. Ask before you sit down and order. We almost got caught out at one place but realised just before we ordered and politely left to find another café that took a debit cash card.

We love this little wine bar in old Hvar. There is a great selection of wonderful Croatian wine (Dingac and Posip are our favourites). The music is to our taste too - old rock! Although an outside seat is good, it's worth sitting inside just to check out the bottles of wine and other memorabilia!

Our restaurant is on a small beach called Mala Milna, 2 minutes walk from the village Milna. The village is situated on the south coast of the island Hvar. The city of Hvar is 5 kilometers far from us and it is well connected through buses and taxi boats with Milna. On the top of the beach is situated our restaurant, the sea is crystal clear, the swimming area is very large and safe from boats. There is even the possibility to rent a parasol.
We go two times in this family restaurant. The first one was perfect, appetizer with dalmatian ham, cheese and a octopus salad, all perfect. A nice hvarian wine, amazing brow bread, a perfectly cooked and absolutely fresh fish with semifreddo for dessert. The second time we repeat the appetizer but I think we chose badly the second, was a nice plate of meat, chicken and pork, but nothing than good, no memorable. Dry pancake.
They have own garden and make a perfect white wine.

Stopped in to get a treat for our group of eight. We got 2 each of their signature cookies. These thick and crunchy cookies were a huge hit. We chose the double chocolate, chocolate chip, peanut butter chocolate chip and white and dark chocolate chips. This is an absolute must stop for anyone visiting HVAR.

Had an absolute wonderful meal at a great value for the quantity that they gave you, as well as a very reasonably priced glass of wine.
Lovely setting right over the cove.
I tried the Croatian dish pasticada and found it to be so amazing flavorful with so spices and the meat so tender.
Tried the dish elsewhere in Croatia and it didn't even compare

DEAR GUESTS, PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL 1st MAY 2018. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN NEXT SUMMER! THANK YOU!
This place is excellent. Family-run, with the owner doubling-up as a waiter, serving fresh, utterly delicious food at reasonable prices. The wine is very good, too.
I had the mussels to start, my partner had the seafood tagliatelle. My starer was cooked in plenty of good quality white wine and garlic, whilst my partner's dish was tasting of the sea, wrapped in perfectly cooked, homemade pasta.
For the main, I had čevapčiči, served with ajvar and kajmak. Kajmak was the most delicious, fresh tasting cheese you could wish for, whilst the meat sausages were very well seasoned. Ajvar was light and flavoursome.
Cheesecake was also excellent, and we were given a shot of nut liqueur on the house after dinner. We rarely go back to the same place twice on holiday, but we are making an exception for this gem – going back there in a couple of days for our last dinner in Hvar.
