The food at this restaurant is always wonderful! The staff was kind, intuitive and courteous! The food is fresh and delicious no matter what time of the day or night you arrive! The menu has a huge variety and I have never been able to have an appetite for dessert…too full and satisfied.
Delicious! We have been to this restaurant several times and never been let down! We come to Ohio one time a year and always make sure that we stop in at this restaurant!

I've taken my daughter there twice, the first time, she swore she would never eat the food again. I figured maybe it was a bad day, so about a year later, she tried it again, looked at me, and threw the entire meal in the trash!! I will say that I do go there for the cakes, and on hot days in the summer, but when you go inside, they ALWAYS seem to be short handed,, and such a long line.......pain in the you know what!!!!

that is all I have the restaurant has been around for some time.
First time here. Friends told me about this place. The food portions are large. The prices are excellent for what you get. All the food we ate was excellent and fresh. Can't go wrong at this place. We will come back for sure. This place is great on a budget.

Italian Kitchen focusing on American influenced Italian fare. Full Bar with limited Sunday Liquor Sales. Patio, Pizza, Pasta, Locally Grown Lettuces and imaginative Specials.
My dinner consisted of a salad and the basic Italian staple, spaghetti and meat balls. The salad wasn't bad except when I was asked if I wanted cheese on it I didn't expect more cheese than lettuce. The pasta flavor of the spaghetti really stood out and overpowered Vinny's meat sauce. And the meatballs, not sure what they put in them, but they tasted like anise. The portions are generous, but the leftovers ended up in the garbage.

A neighbor told us to be sure to go to Mary yoders and as we were tracing our old haunts in geauga co. we decided to give it a try. Delicious! We've eaten in other Amish restUrants and they were what you'd expect..decent comfort food. Mary's however steps it up a notch, especially with their help. Not to say the food isn't because it is. I had pork, dressing and green beans( I could have eaten just a bowl of green beans.nothing special but just darn good! Husband had the meatloaf and loved it. Needless to say we had no room for desert ,but they sure looked great! Of course there's a gift shop and bakery. Brought home some great French bread, sucinni bread and banana bread.

As I was entering the coffee shop I spied a sign offering salted caramel coffee that was turned around because it was a special from a prior day. However, the sweet girl offered to make it for me anyway!! Wow. I also tried a lemon poppyseed muffin was that was the perfect size and quite delicious. The shop offers several comfy seating choices to relax and enjoy your treat.

Is it lacking in decor and cleanliness, yes. Does it have mouth watering mind blowing food, yes. So I'll take the good with the bad. Taco salad was made with homemade chilli amd was huge and awesome. The homemade chips are a must have. Definetly worth making a trip to check out this place.

Breakfasts are awesome. Eggs are white instead off all greasy like most places. Best in town. Always busy

.I might have had the best tasting burger in 20 years on my first visit to the Middlefield Tavern. Most of the other patrons were watching sporting events on the big screen TV's but my party of three adults came in hungry and thirsty. There were lots of food choices but I was in the mood for a burger and fries or onion rings. It was a Saturday afternoon and were were all ready to relax after a tough day of shopping and exploring in Amish country. I ordered the Middlefield Tavern Burger with onion rings. It is a double quarter pound burger with a special sauce. It was absolutely perfect and I don't like surprises but this was a good one. I had to tell the cook and SHE was used to compliments. There are many other food combo choices so I mentally highlighted them and I will be ready for my next trip to town. The food exceeded my expectations and the service was more than good enough. I was happy all the way around and am looking forward to stopping again. They have lots of drink, beer and soft drink beverages and the place looks like it is a fun spot for locals of all kinds and us regular visitors.
