Please don't be discouraged for the location. They have valet parking at weekends and the BEST Best Chile en Nogada!! Remember the famous movie called "Como Agua para Chocolate" where they have Chile en Nogada, well here you find them at its best setting! Too bad that I couldn't get the recipe!!!
As a Mexican American I know what is really a good Mexican food and here Ramiro and Jaime really know what they are doing! Couple years ago I visit for the first time with friends and they were very pleased with the food and service. Love to hear that they don't serve burritos and tacos which is most of the non-Latinos know about the Mexican cuisine. The only thing that I don't like is that they extended the restaurant area and a crafts store was added. I am not against our Mexican traditions but when I want to eat I don't want to be distract by the anything else. Love the wall with the pottery pieces and during my last visited I inquired about a painting that was on display but too bad it was out of my reach. I have stopped multiple times to get Enchiladas al Mole which are delicious too! Once I saw a television anchorman there and this is a place to find a well diverse clientele. The Chefs are very charming and once I saw one that waved at me from another table. they serve Cetto Wines which are from Baja. Very acceptable. Try el café de Oya with a cinnamon touch. Delicious.. I am hungry now.. Enjoy Amigos !

A bakery like similar to this is yet to be created. I actually don't think is possible to even come close.
The guaba and cheese is my favorite, some of my co-workers love the potato balls, chorizo and eggs breakfast sandwich is delicious, plantine balls= rellenitos are also a must.

Being a vegetarian it's impossible to comment on their famous barbecue wings so I'll have to take their word: the say the wings are delicious and the best they had.
The pizza on the other hand I can write about, the size of the large pie is enough for at least three hungry people, the sauce is light, the cheese topping is just enough but I must report the pizza over all was kinda bland.

This place is definitely a hidden sweet treasure that you will not regret venturing into. The area is a little shady if you are not familiar with Latin culture, but it's a venture you must want to brave if you want the best churros money can buy.
The length of the churros are about 12 inches long and the width about 1 1/2 inches thick. The churros are rolled in cinnamon and sugar, and the texture is crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. You can have them filled with Latin caramel or chocolate for an extra charge, but the regular price is so affordable, that you end up buying a dozen and you'll still be thinking, "Maybe a few more to make this an even bill!".
Every year on Christmas Eve I buy 80 churros for my co-workers and they love it. One negative is the fact that they are fried in lard, but as an occasional treat, it is worth it. The tres leche cake are pretty good too, as well is the flan.

Pick among over 80 niche wines & 20 craft beers, to enjoy on site or to go... it's the same price!! Happy hour night and wine tasting event once a month.
We stayed down the street and ate breakfast here several times. You will not find better pastry...anywhere. The croissants were perfect; the savory breads were delicious, and the apricot tart was memorable. They also serve a beautiful cup of coffee and have outdoor seating.

Love this place - although, portions could be a little bit bigger. That said, great Mexican Fusion restaurant. Amazing drinks.

Good place for 24 hrs. They have good customer service. Price is normal like all Denny's. This place beats McDonald's any time.

For Pizza in the Bell gardens district this is the place to go. Drove there and it has a convenient car park in front. Ordered once were we there 2 large pizza. We were greeted by a genuinely cheery girl. Pizza took 15/20 mins to be ready, but you can sit inside or outside and wait. While waiting we were brought some freshly made cookies that were absolutely delisious. Pizzas arrived and they were huge. Actually we could have ordered just one and done a create your own with half and half toppings and shared 1 pizza. But the pizza was freshly made with great ingredients. One of (if not the) best pizza I've ever had. Would highly recommend.
