We were heading northeast from Knoxville on 11W and decided to see what was in Blaine,TN. Our exploration was rewarded with a hidden jewel of restaurant. Their signage was decorated with ice cream cones, so we stopped to see what flavors they had. As we walked in, I was impressed with the cleanliness and roominess of what appeared from the outside to be a tiny place. I ordered two scoops of ice cream, one buttered pecan and the other moose tracks. The cost: $1.99. The scoops were generous and tasted outstanding. The people behind the counter were friendly and helpful, just what you would expect from a rural, privately owned place. We may make a special trip back to the Little Dipper in the near future to have a full lunch.

Corryton/Gibbs has a great place to dine, with this restaurant! Excellent service and clean....authentic and reasonable in price. Large menu selection but as always trying a new mexican establishment I do the Especialidades/Special Orders. ...The Carnitas Michoacan was recommended! !! Very good and prepared authentic!!! Great salsa with enough taste of everything to make it pop; fresh chips also!!! Highly recommend and loved the layout and atmosphere... ☆☆☆☆

Ordered a calzone and curly fries. Fresh food and surprisingly good food for a very small community. My colleague ordered crinkle cut fries and a Philly steak sandwich. Both of us were pleased with the meal and service and would recommend anyone passing through to eat here.

This Baskin-Robbins is inside the Chevron Station. Service is usually pretty good and I have always had a good experience. Milkshakes are usually what my family gets.

Best barbecue pork in the area. Casual establishment. Service was outstanding, price was reasonable. Daughter had the pulled pork, I had the smoked brisket sandwich, and the wife had the chicken. Flavor was spectacular, portions were generous. I have competed on meat smoking teams so I am pretty picky. They absolutely rate great.

I had the fettuccini Alfredo with grilled chicken , garlic toast and fully loaded salad for $12 for dinner. The food was plenty and service was fantastic, Amy was so attentive and right on cue with refills and extra napkins. They have certain days they are closed so be sure to check that out before you visit. They also have very tasty and reasonably priced lunch specials each day. Great sweet tea served here too. We love the hometown feel you get eating here, we will be back soon.

Stopping in for a lunch is a good idea. The small town diner menu is simple and the daily specials are tasty. You are not near a fast food restaurant so the convenience and speed of the cooks is really appreciated.

We went to Bubba Brew's on a Saturday night. Four adults and two children. We were seated right away when we got there. They even parked our boat for us. The atmosphere is really cool - you are outside, sitting on a dock, eating at picnic tables. It's a great place for a meal on a nice evening after being on the lake. The service is good. Our waitress was super nice and prompt. I ended up getting the Buffalo chicken wrap, even though I really just wanted a salad with Buffalo chicken - I asked really nice if I could have a house salad with Buffalo chicken and was told they couldn't do that. She seemed confused by what I was asking. Not super happy because it seemed like a simple request, but it's a simple place so I went with it. My husband and sister in law had burgers. They were overcooked. My brother in law had the tenderloin and it was decent as well. Overall the food is your typical sports bar food - nothing stellar, but it's decent priced and again the atmosphere and people you are with make the time good. For the four adults and two kids - the bill was about $80 and we did have some drinks. Now, I will say, their French fries were really good!!! I'd go back for those!

This is a brand new deli that is adorable the moment you walk thru the door. It has a counter where you order your food and the menu is posted on a chalkboard on the wall and is very clearly written and easy to understand menu. The entire deli/store is decorated in primitive furniture, candles, home decor and such and it is all for sale. There are some cute tables inside with tractor seats and stools for sitting. A nice checkerboard game is available for use too. We ordered the Gips Club Burger for $6.95 with side of seasoned fries for $1.79. Let me just tell you these are not frozen burgers, the cook hand pats these out and the meat is fresh!! It was a 2 patties that were 8oz each....yeah 1 lb of meat!!! That is a heck of a deal and it was fantastic loaded with all the toppings you desire. There are many items on the menu from pizza, deli sandwiches, bbq, chicken, salads and 8 different sides to chose from. You can also buy meats and cheeses by the pound which is great for the local camp ground at Big Ridge Park or lake goers. They serve breakfast on Fri & Sat only and she does it up big starting at 7am. I will be back! Prices are VERY reasonable and food is so delicious , not to mention the friendly service.
