This was recommended by hotel staff as the best restaurant in town so I went. I had the camarao no abacaxi (shrimp in a half pineapple shell) which was very good and the service was very attentive. Would come back. Enjoy.

The beach and atmosphere are paradise, but the food at this restaurant, heaven - I dearly recommend anyone in the vicinity to stop over at this cutely decorated restaurant, and relish the delights that the Chef will cook up for you!
Excellent restaurant with great artistic decor. We went there at our first night in the city and we couldn't avoid going again in the next night. Food is excellent and inspired. It serves traditional dishes in bistro style with a touch of high cuisine. Ingredients are fresh and service is very polite. It's a bit expensive when compared to other restaurants in the same street.
If you are looking for a different experience in regional dishes (but a bit pricey), this is the place.
If you are looking for traditional dishes, then stick to other restaurants in the area.
Pretendo voltar muitas vezes.

Small restaurant, good A/C, good service, great food, very cold beer. Our second visit to Terra Brasil.....happy to recommend.

We went to this restaurant on the advice of hotel staff. The food is homemade and of high quality ingredients. The Ravioli Fenomeno was excellent with fresh mushrooms. The Spaghetti Putanesca had good ingredients but was overly salty (a common attribute to food in the Northeast of Brazil). We had to ask for cheese which came after the food, and we asked for some bread to accompany the pasta and were charged an exorbitant 20 Reais (USD 7). We had thought that would be complementary or minimal cost, and not one-third the price of a full dish made from scratch. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and comfortable.

This restaurant is run by an Argentinian gentlemen and so the food includes his native food, like lovely steaks and Argentinian wine! It is on a corner on a 'crossroads' in the pedestrianised area of town.
The staff are all helpful and service good.
Not sure what the link is with the patisserie which is about 100 metres north on another street.

Although they have many other options, delicious by the way, THEIR FISH BALLS are still the BEST!! Simply THE BEST!!

They have all sorts of ice cream flavours - you take a bowl and take whatever you want (they have all sorts of toppings as well) you then pay by weight. The ice cream are all well made but my favourite is the passion fruit one!

Great for a Sunday lunch with family and friends after the beach. Food is good. You can have family style dishes or individual plates. Very nice side dishes. Great value.

Having been recommended this place by a local Italian, I had high expectations, which fortunately were not let down. The food was fresh and well cooked, nothing extraordinary in terms of seasoning, just simple, good ingredients, well prepared at a reasonable price. The pasta, which is homemade, is indeed the highlight, although my maltagliati alla diavola had enough sauce for 2 portions! The zucchini and aubergine that came with the grilled fish were excellent, as was the salad, which was very fresh.
