4 Star is a nice cozy family owned business. I visit regularly with friends for breakfast. They have several different breakfast bowls with one being on special every day. They are a great bargain and taste great too. Definitely my "go to" place for breakfast.

Overlooking the water with fine drinks and a delicious dinner was the experience I had at the River Crab. I would most definitely recommend this location for dinner. There was a piano player there when we arrived and we were seated next to the window. We didn't have reservations but it was a week night and about 6:00 p.m.

Raven Cafe is a trendy spot that offers a wide variety of items on their menu. While I regret not stopping by for food, I was thoroughly impressed with their coffee, espresso and speciality drinks.
Based on the atmosphere and customer service alone, Raven Cafe is easily one of the best establishments in Port Huron.

This Starbucks is not a stand alone store, it is located inside the Marysville Meijer Store. These are not Starbucks employees they are Meijer employees. I visit this location about twice a week while spending the summers on the St. Clair River. The Baristas are trained as well as any free standing Starbucks location. My drink is always as I order it and extra hot the way I like it. The employees are friendly and are always smiling.
My big complaint is against Meijer, they will not allow the baristas to accept tips, these employees are not making the Starbucks wages and they do not get the benefits of Starbucks' employees. The Starbucks inside Albertson's in El Paso, TX have allowed their employees to start accepting tips after a customer boycott against the location. It would be nice to see these underpaid employees be allowed to accept tips, at least it would help with their gas money. The Baristas are great, the company they work for, not so much.

American, Italian, Mexican, with a full bar, Vegetarian, Gluten Free Options for entrees and desserts.
We ate there, had a nice vegetarian croissant sandwich, not many vegan choices but I am sure they could accommodate most people. The atmosphere was fun and colorful! Good information about the history of Port Huron and cool photos. Will go there again, when I am in town.

Stopped by this St Clair River restaurant while passing through Marysville. The menu selection showed many choices from seafood to hamburgers and they had lots of good sandwich choices-I had the Reuben and it was very good, coming along with some coleslaw. Was big enough that I had take home. I also had some Clam Chowder and it was declicious. My wife had the Chili and said it was delicious. I also had a dark craft beer made in Michigan, very good. There is an enclosed patio(or just sun room) over looking the river , where in season you can see mighty freighters passing by. The main restaurant is elevated so you also get a good view of the water. There is a big bar in the middle if you just want to relax with a drink and talk to the bartender. Two TVs can be seen from the bar and the main restaurant. Would visit it again if passing through.

We stopped at the Tim Hortons in Marysville for a quick bit of dinner. I ordered a chicken. Fajita wrap and my husband ordered the Tuscan Chicken panini. Both were served quickly and quite hot. The employees were friendly and very efficient. Bathrooms were clean.
My only complaint was the container the wrap came in. It has nothing to do with this location, it is a corporate issue. The wrap came in a cardboard container that you can only take the top part off of. Try to eat the bottom half of the wrap!!! I had to get a knife and fork and attempt to tear soggy cardboard to get to the rest of the sandwich.

Stop by our taproom in Marysville Michigan for a craft beer and lunch or dinner. You may also bring your own wine into the taproom.
Visited twice in the span of 10 days. First time ordered beer and the 4 for $25 Shareables. Fried mushrooms were amazing! Nachos small and not worth it. Good chicken strips and chicken quesadilla. Great deal at 4 for $25! Second visit we got burgers at the recommendation of the waitress (who said they were amazing and talked us out of the Fish & Chips (downselling?).
Three suggestions for them.
1) You need to do a much better job at having adequate inventory of your beers. Via FB Messenger you sent me the beer list, yet two hours later one was gone. At the Michigan Beer fest your booth told me of a restaurant serving your beers, but when I called them they said they dropped you due to inability to keep beer in stock. The key to a successful brewery / brewpub is to have choices and adequate supplies.
2) Make sure all your beers are in apps like UnTappd. Even the one-offs. Ratings improve visibility which improves business.
3) You have a glass problem. First visit we got multiple different glasses. Server said "I brought 3 of those from home because they were cool and we always run out of beer glasses". And we dislike the heavy mugs. Pint glasses please. Get them with your logo and sell them also.

Upscale yet casual. Turn of the century building restored to original elegance. Wine bar with regional breweries featured. Full bar on two levels with a great view of downtown Port Huron and Canada from our roof top level. Three private dining areas for private events. Sample menu items include Filet Mignon, fresh Baked Halibut and Cajun Chicken Tortellini.
The pictures looked like a great place and our hotel said we should try it.
It was more expensive, but we were ok with that as we planned ahead and had reviewed the menu online.
But the food was not worth the price, and the serving sizes were very small. Good but we could have eaten more.
We did share a dessert; something I could have made at home (and probably better).
Great views; indoor/outdoor seating upstairs. Very nice, but overpriced for what you get.

I recently ordered take out, from this restaurant. I had the worst service. I have ever had in a restaurant. When I arrived, I placed my order. The staff acted like they didn't understand what I was saying. They talked back and forth, between themselves, but totally ignored me. Then they started having difficulties with the credit card machine, on another take out order. My food was behind the counter, while they continued to mess with the credit card machine, for an order that wasn't even cooked yet. I repeatedly asked them to ring my order, and they continued to ignore me. By the time I got my food, it was cold. I should have walked out, but I had already paid my tab. Needless to say, The Pelican Cafe has permanently lost my business.
