Blue Heron BrewPub and The Oven above the Pub offer two distinct dining environments. Downstairs the BrewPub offers a casual, comfortable eating environment with a variety of foods prepared from "scratch". The menu changes frequently and can be viewed on our website. Upstairs at The Oven above the Pub, the menu features items prepared in a Forno Bravo brick oven located within the dining area. Customers my order then watch their food being prepared. The menu items include appetizers, flatbreads, salads, and iron skillet entrees. Both areas can prepare food for individuals with dietary preferences. All tap beers are brewed in our own brewery and available both upstairs and downstairs. Flagship brews include Honey Blonde, Tiger's Eye, Hop Heart IPA and Loch Ness Scotch Ale. Six additional brews assure that anyone should be able to find a quaffable libation. An elevator serves all levels of the building for those requiring assistance.<br>Blue Heron BrewPub is open from 11:00 AM til Close and Oven above the Pub is open from 5:00 PM til Close. Both restaurants are closed Sunday.
Let’s start with what was impressive:
The pollock! It was delicious! Their tarter sauce helped make it even better...Would be hard to get anything else...
the cheese curds were also delicious!
On a scale of one to five, the chili rye impressed the most with a 3.5 out of 5....subtle spice.
Now, for what could’ve been better:
Service. Was okay. Interacted with a few and felt as if the training was more thorough, they would’ve been able to answer the simple questions asked.
The crab cakes left something to be desired...needed a sauce, some green also would have helped.
I liked the feel of the restaurant and appreciate what they are doing. The beer is nothing to bring a person back. With so many great craft beers available now, their food and service needs to wow because their beer doesn’t.

Another place that helps me enjoy dining out in Marshfield, The Daily grind is my choice for a place to get a good salad, and sit for awhile sipping tea or coffee. Service is friendly, and after awhile the faces are familiar.
Again, as a vegetarian, I enjoy being able to eat foods for lunch and breakfast that offer more veggies that tomatoes and bibb lettuce.
I suggest the portabella sandwich, the veggie sandwich, and often their soup of the day.
The ambience is what a coffee shop that is also a restaurant should be; this is the place that I chose to study for board exams every afternoon, when the traffic died down, but still provided some ambient noise.

We visited this place post dinner and even though they had almost shout for the day, they welcomed us and served with a smile. Awesome icecreams and generous helpings.... we were spoilt for choice. Absolutely loved the Strawberry cheessecake icecream. The owners are such lovely people - a must visit!

Established in 1982 Opening as a tavern serving various types of tap, bottled beer, and mixed drinks. We were solely known as a "shot and beer bar" catering to our everyday bar customers. Over the years, the original Nutz Deep II has made some major changes. One of the major changes came when the City of Marshfield instilled the smoking ban. This forced the owners of Nutz Deep II to reevaluate their entire business. At this time, the menu was expanded offering a full service restaurant. We have expanded the beer selection by adding twenty domestic and specialty beers on tap, adding an outdoor seating area, and adding an outdoor smoking lounge. In November of 2007, our second location was established called Nutz Deep II North in Spencer, WI. This location has the same features as Nutz Deep II in Marshfield.Nutz Deep II features 12 large screen TVs so our customers can watch nearly every sporting event available. We are the perfect venue for happy hour, late night drinks, or just socializing. In addition to the full-service bar featuring all your favorite spirits, major domestic, imported, specialty craft beers, and wine, our large menu of appetizers, sandwiches, and of course burgers are there for you from open to close.
Nutz has a great pub food menu, with a variety of selections. Their burgers are bomb, as are the wraps and appetizers. We often go here to watch Packer and Badger games, and it is a fun atmosphere. Most of the servers are excellent.

This is a great place to get a coffee or blended beverage. My favorite is a blended pumpkin latte, but there is a long list of favors. Always friendly, and reasonable. They have drinks for children, too, so it's one-stop for a thirsty crew.

Not many people think to eat at a roller rink, but you can't go wrong here! The prices are super reasonable and you will find a lot of older people eating here, socializing and spending time together. The food was good, nice portions. Save some room for the homemade ice-cream that is generously served in big glasses! You can order several different kinds and they pile it on! It is delicious! There is nothing fancy about the restaurant and it's extremely outdated which I think makes it better! Reminds me of the old cafe's I use to go to as a kid!

Typically ambitious menu for limited capabilities in a hotel cafe. Wide range of sandwiches, pasta, and other entrees. Nothing stands out and nothing is terrible. There are better options in Marshfield and you should try them out. If you don't want to leave the property then the convenience of the cafe will suffice. Very good complimentary breakfast for hotel guests. Friendly and attentive service person takes good care of the guests.

Stopped at the drive-through on a recent business trip. Service was very quick, and the coffee was excellent - not over-roasted, with a beautiful crisp flavor that was exactly what I needed in the morning. I'll definitely stop back on my next time through Marshfield!

We stopped in late to have a light bite. The tacos were fabulous. Simple, tasty, fresh, just plain good. Our server was helpful and friendly. I would definitely stop here again.

We get here once or twice a year. Love the food. Always a good experience when dining with friends. Something different for our steak and potato area. Pretty much everything on the menu is good. Bar and waiting areas are too small but it is a historic train depot, so space is limited. Will go back again and recommend.
