Central Perks is located in the historical Weisman Bldg in downtown Marshall TX. We offer elevated spins on sandwiches, salads and burgers, plus espresso drinks in a bright cafe setting. The Weisman Center is home to numerous artists and merchants offering a shopping experience like no other in Marshall.
My sisters and I loved the atmosphere while having a nice quiche lunch as we sat by the front windows. After shopping the Weismann Center’s three floors having a lunch stop on the first floor was a place to rest our feet while dining. Service...MoreThank you! We look forward to serving you again soon.

Ate here during a visit to Marshall with my wife. The place itself is on the courthouse square. The furnishings inside are more like someone's dining room versus a restaurant, with draped tables, flowers, beautiful light fixtures, a nice wooden floor and high ceilings, along with large windows across the side and front of the restaurant for a nice natural light. The wait staff was very friendly and answered our questions completely and nicely. The food came quickly. I had a patty melt with a cheesy jalapeno and poblano pepper soup that was very, very good. The patty melt used toasted sourdough bread and had sautéed onions and cheese on it - also very good. My wife was thirsty but never had an empty glass - they even brought her a to-go cup just in case she was still thirsty afterwards. We had an apple walnut muffin and cheesecake for dessert.
We felt so welcome at R&R. We'll be back on our next trip through Marshall.

We enjoy Cafe Italia often with friends. The food is very good and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. We especially like the chicken and pasta dishes - there are several that we have seen only at Cafe Italia and they are all very good. The individual bread loaves are delicious and always served piping hot, but be careful not to "fill up" on them. We have actually never eaten pizza there; the pizza looks delicious but we always end up ordering one of the other wonderful meals. Good Italian food!

I lived in Marshall my whole life and I love Jucy's. Everything I've tried here is good: burgers (so good!), beans, fries, tots, baked potato (which is HUGE), chicken strips, chicken fried steak...the employees are nice, the place is clean and they have a great burger and fries deal on Monday nights.

I visited several establishments, looking for a good place close to all of the Christmas presentations & activities to have our very large family celebration of the birth of Christ. This was the last place, I visited. I was starving by the time I stopped here. I had a very fresh salad with real feta cheese & an authentic Melanzana Eggplant dish that was absolutely divine. I had to get a to-go box. I rented the "meeting room" immediately! There are lovely sidewalk tables outside that some of our family will definitely love! The interior design of the main part of the restaurant is exquisite. Emily, the manager, had a good answer for every question. Joseph, the owner, told me he would have the room renovated by Christmas! This is going to be perfect! Im excited about our very large family "get together"!

Nicely decorated restaurant, with friendly service. But the food we had was not good. And I got glutened, something that almost never happens to this celiac disease individual at Mexican restaurants. And $30 for two in rural Texas? Really?

We were traveling and are quite happy we followed recommendations we found on TripAdvisor for the Bodacious B-B-Q. The food was fantastic! It's obviously very popular with the locals too. It has a very casual atmosphere.

Came here as a visitor from outta town with business. I saw the pic of pizza on menu and said I wanted that...it was delicious. I ordered the garlic cheese bread it was $10 and came burnt in my opinion and didn't taste as expected. The staff was all very nice and drinks were refilled without asking. I was so full when I left. If I ever come back that way I will go back.

If you want a plain old burger...thick , jucy and delicious ...you are at the right place...
They don't do fancy buns or fixin's....It is very popular with locals from all round the area........they grind their own meat and have many years of experience making good food....(always the best reason to go to eat somewhere)...highly recommended.
