This is not Italian. This is more like high school food. Chicken parm tasted like an over cooked chicken tender with store bought sauce. The garlic bread was just like the frozen bread in the grocery store... and the pasta is a joke. The atmosphere is very nice but then they put a television above a gorgeous fireplace? Way to kill the atmosphere. It’s a restaurant! Tv. Not needed... add some Italian music to be 0ayed softly amongst the tables. Dim the lights a little... encourage people to talk to each other and make it a cell free restaurant. And put people who know how to cook in your kitchen. I a!being kind with this note.... I grew up in an Italian restaurant and yours is no Italian restaurant. There is so much room for improvement....

Ordered a small sugar free mocha. Thought it felt kind of light. But, didn't want to hold up the line. Coffee is always very hot, so I wait to get home to drink it. I live 2 miles away. I looked in the cup when I got home, coffee was barely half full, in the cup. Expensive foam. Employees surely know what the typical weight of a cup of coffee should feel like, right? Apparently not!

Our first visit...certainly not the last! My husband booked a reservation two weeks prior sight unseen as we were exploring a new area of Ohio. Historical home setting located on a pleasant street running parallel with the river; gorgeous view of the park across the street! Contemporary style inside with a black and white motif. No hostess to greet us, we seated ourselves after a young man told us to pick a spot. Waitress after was delightful, warm, friendly and full of tips on the area! Lunch was buffet style, unbelievably delicious fare! The hummus was THE BEST I've ever had! Lentil soup, tabouli, fatoosh, chicken Marsala, mousaka, pasta, to name a few all incredibly tasty!! Finished lunch with rice pudding and oolala what a wonderful place!! Highly recommend!!

Whit's is incredible, no matter what city or town. The Marietta location has consistently friendly staff. The custard is wonderful and the sandwiches etc are very good as well.

Steak-Sea Food-Pasta & International Cousine Austyn's Restaurant has won the hearts and appetites of local as well as visiting diners by offering an inviting atmosphere. We offer a "different-than-the-norm" menu(Steak,Seafood,Pasta And International Cuisines). As well as a wide selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Here at Austyn's the wine and drink menus are as diverse as the food.
We stopped in for drinks and appetizers before the symphony and just sat at the bar. The bartender was very nice, the menu had many appealing offerings, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. We shared the Prawn Prosciutto (wow, really tasty with the little bit of apple in it) and the seared Ahi tuna (also, quite good). We'd like to stop in again for a full meal.

This place is always packed. I can only speak to the customer service aspect as I only ordered 2 milkshakes and had to wait 30+ minutes. They even served people who ordered AFTER us and had food. I had to ask them if ours was ready, and they had one shake that had just been sitting there, practically melted, and had to make the other one. This isn't a place I'll be stopping back at. They didn't even apologize or anything.

The way the place is laid out is unique for Marietta and many other places, too. You walk in and feel yourself relaxing. You order at the counter. The choices are limited, but what we had was excellent. (I really liked my steak-salad sandwich in a spinach wrap.) A truly different, truly nice way to enjoy lunch.

Locally owned craft brewery offering a generous menu of American pub fare including gourmet personal pizzas, signature burgers, chicken wings, hand-cut steaks and more! Open for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week! Kids menu available for kids under 10. Drink local, eat local!
This was my second trip to this location. The server was very efficient and made sure we were taken care of. Our food came out fresh and quick. My grilled chicken buffalo salad was perfect. Definitely put this on your list.

The Galley has been a Marietta gathering place for generations. The Galley is quite literally in the center of Historic Downtown Marietta and continues to be the hub of its entertainment world. Marietta College students and alumni meet each other for Homecoming, Graduation, reunions and formals here. Business people hold meetings, client dinners, seminars and banquets with us. Travelers have been delighted with our cuisine and atmosphere. Of course, our beloved locals have turned The Galley into the Mid-Ohio Valley's hot spot for Happy Hour, Wing Nights, Mug Club Mondays, friendly meetings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, and sometimes "just because". We are on a culinary mission to provide Marietta and the surrounding Mid-Ohio Valley with the most interesting and best quality food possible. Our Culinary Director has designed a menu based upon fresh ingredients, quality meats and vegetables, unique flavors and familiar favorites. The Galley's culinary perspective sits at the crossroads of neighborhood gastropub and high-end steak house. Tapping into the local dining scene takes just that - taps. And guess what, we have 24 of them. We also carry well over 50 bottled beers and a 6-page beverage menu that will make you drool. Three antique bars serve specialty libations, rotating craft brews, domestic beers, aged whiskies and even cigars! In an effort to keep the newest and best selection for our customers, we host craft brew and wine dinners. These limited ticket evenings pair seasonal beers and wines with multi-course meals and live entertainers for a distinctive culinary experience.
Food was amazing, beer was great and the decor was really neat. I didn’t give It a 5 bc the server was kind of forgetful, extremely loud and was coughing all over the place :/ needless to say she woke up our sleeping baby and then forgot to bring her a drink! Haha! We would still go back next time we visit!!!
