If you want a more relaxing and yummier route from Phila to Ocean city go through Ventnor and stop here for consistently great cheese steaks. Personally, I think they are just as good as at the White House. Another stop in reverse on the way back home works just as well.

I'm not kidding when I tell you these are the best bagels. They are big & hearty, yet moist and delicious. You can also get bagel sandwiches ready made or to order. Always lines in this place but moves like a well oiled machine. Must try! My favorite are the everything bagels!

Steve & Cookie's, located near the bay in Margate, New Jersey, offers the best of steaks & fresh seafood in a warm atmosphere with live Jazz 7 nights a week. Using the freshest of local and sustainable produce, all meats on the menu are humanely raised without hormones or antibiotics.
We were two couples with a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday night. We arrived @6:15 and had a cocktail at the bar. Seated at 6:25. Opted for the Brussel Sprout app (x2), burrata app and a wedge salad. All were delicious and generously portioned. Entrees were stuffed pork chops (x2), veal chop Milanese and a 20-something oz. Cowboy steak. Food came quickly without us feeling rushed. My veal chop was delicious. (They put some fresh thin sliced jalapeños in with the arugula to give it a little kick.). The girls said the pork chops were dynamite and I think my buddy is still there eating the steak. Lol. Everything ordered was great - our server, Anthony, twisted our arms to split a couple pieces of pie for dessert. Coconut Creme Pie and Banana Creme Pie we’re both the perfect ending to an already wonderful meal. Anthony was an excellent server with great recommendations. If in the area - get to Steve & Cookies!

Since 1952, Margate Dairy Bar has been serving Margate City custards, frozen desserts, burgers, fries, and shakes. A stop at MDB is a family tradition! Enjoy our "back to the future" classics of fifties architecture, combined with great food, frozen desserts, legendary customer service, and today's modern technologies. We also offer water ices, ice cream, shakes, blasters, and frozen delights. In addition, we also offer 100%, dairy-free, gluten-free, and coconut milk ice cream!
This place has exceptional burgers!! The quality and care of preparation was evident and they even offer gluten free buns. I had the home made chip wich look alike for dessert and it was excellent. The frozen yogurt was just so-so in our opinion and the sundaes seemed a bit overpriced to us so I took off a star.

This is a definite stop (at least once) whenever we are in Ocean City - there are a few storefront locations on the boardwalk. Absolutely delicious caramel popcorn! Popcorn is also available with additional flavors of cheddar, artisan cheese, peanut, dark chocolate drizzle, classic butter. When getting one of their (few different sizes) ‘Johnson’s tub’, ask for the top to be left open and they will ‘overflow’ the container into the bag of your purchase, getting extra deliciousness to enjoy! Worth the calories! If you bring back your ‘Johnson’s tub’ on a return visit, it is a ‘refill’ and you are not charged for the purchase of another ‘tub’.

This was our second visit and definitely making a vacation tradition! We wanted to sit in the bar which we definitely preferred over the restaurant.. Got a window seat and got to watch the storm in the bay across the street! We went off season so got lucky with seating. A "Cheers" feel in bar.. Lots of locals having fun! We had Chilean sea bass! Yum! Sushi! Yum! Please go.. You won't be sorry!

With a wide variety of donuts for everyone, Juniors has the fun and location that is very popular among the locals and visitors alike. Situated on the bayside of Longport, it's a great stop for coffee and a donut to satisfy your craving for a morning treat!

We are always searching out a new place to eat in OC. OC Surf Cafe came highly recommended. We were there during the brunch/lunch time so we ordered nachos and burritos and tacos. The nachos were delicious. My son and I had tacos and my husband ordered the Hurricane Sandy burrito. Our tacos and burrito were very dry and the flour tortilla shells were hard as rocks. I ate the shrimp out of the taco. My husband had to dump a lot of salsa in his burrito to make it edible. The interior is very clean and funky. The service is very good. I don't think they deserve the #1 spot for places to eat in OC. There are many other places, especially Mexican and Greek, that are better. (Red's jersey Mex and Yianni's are very good choices)

Been in business 28 yrs. Featuring Italian American Cusine. One block from Tropicana and The Quarter. Family Owned. Upscale Italian American white table cloth restaurant . PLEASE upscale casual dress.... no tee shirts, graffiti tees, cut off, beachwear,Male tank tops.
Went with a large group from the Borgata. Someone else did all of the ordering on appetizers ; the clams were amazing ! Also, he made caprese at the table somehow. As in , the buffalo mozzarella cheese was created before our eyes . I had sea bass as an entree which was insanely fresh and tasty.
HIGHLY recommend this place .
Small spot . l heard it is hard to get in but I did not make the reservations.

I've been eating these bagels for 10 years. They are consistsntly fantastic. There is not a Summer weekend my family goes without Hot bagels. My favorite are the everything bagels. These bagels are a bit on the heavy side, you won't be eating 3 of these. They are moist & fantastic. Don't let the long lines scare you, this place works like a week oiled machine, just go in & stand in line you won't be there but a few short minutes. Oh, they also make fantastic breakfast sandwiches on their bagels & now also make ones with Turkey bacon as we.. ;)
